In the minds of many of our bodybuilders, there may be an idea that if we spend more time on fitness training every time, the fitness training effect will be better. In this regard, I want to tell you that the effect of fitness training we get is really related to the training time we have, but it doesn't mean that the longer the time, the better the training effect we get.

Some bodybuilders may practice for more than two hours in the process of fitness training, and some friends even practice for four hours, so they can spend most of their time in the gym.

What we need to know is that if our fitness training time is too long, it is not only difficult to obtain good fitness effect, but also may affect our health.

In my opinion, the time for each fitness training should not be too long. Generally, an hour or so is better. If you can master these two tips, you can help shape a better figure.

First, don't arrange too many training movements, and appropriately increase the number of training groups.

Some of our friends spend too much time in the process of fitness training. One of the important reasons is that there are too many training moves to choose, and there may be more than a dozen moves to choose from.

In this regard, I want to tell you that it is enough to choose about five movements for each fitness training.

Among these five or so training movements, two are the main training movements, such as barbell bench press in chest training or barbell squat in leg training.

When we do these main training moves, we'd better let ourselves go to several groups. You can't just do three or four groups like other movements. Generally speaking, it is more appropriate to do six or eight groups of these main movements.

When we can appropriately reduce the arrangement of movements and appropriately increase the number of main movements, we can shorten our training time to a certain extent.

Second, shorten the rest time between groups.

What we need to know is that in the process of fitness training, the intensity of training largely determines the effect of our training.

Among the factors that determine our training intensity, the choice of rest time between groups is a very important factor. If the rest time between our groups is too long, then our training intensity may be relatively small.

In other words, if we want to improve the training intensity and effect, then we'd better shorten the rest time between groups appropriately.

Moreover, shortening the rest time between groups can also help us reduce the training time. Generally speaking, our break between groups is about one minute. Of course, if you are a novice in fitness training and your physical fitness is not particularly good, then the rest time between groups is two minutes.
