How important are the shoulder muscles?
When we are in fitness, we often come into contact with many exercises, some of which are to lose fat and some to gain muscle. But if you are exposed to the two kinds of training for a long time, you will find that they both involve the exercise of shoulder muscles. Why are shoulder muscles so important?

It is reasonable to say that people who lose fat have relatively small shoulder muscles, while our leg muscles are relatively much larger. Why not put the training time of shoulder muscles on exercising leg muscles? This is because the function and significance of shoulder muscles are not much worse than those of leg muscles.

Our shoulder muscles are located near the shoulder joint, and its significance is to help us strengthen our shoulder strength and maintain the movement of the shoulder joint during exercise. The shoulder muscles are mainly deltoid. The deltoid muscle is divided into three parts, namely, the anterior bundle, the middle bundle and the posterior bundle.

The function of the front beam is to make our shoulder joint do an pronation and flexion, while our middle beam makes me do an abduction of the shoulder joint, and the rear beam makes us do an extension of the shoulder joint. It can be said that the energy of the three parts is different, so we need targeted exercise when we are in fitness.

Having said that, maybe many people still don't understand why the importance of shoulder muscles is emphasized so much. Even though the shoulder muscles play an important role, this piece of meat maintains the movement of the shoulder, so it will also be exercised when exercising the chest muscles and back muscles. Is it necessary to take time to exercise shoulder muscles alone? Of course it is necessary, because it has the following two functions.

The first function is to help us complete many actions. Our deltoid has three parts, and the functions of the front, middle and back parts are different, so it takes some time to do different exercises when we are in fitness. Our front bundle is more closely related to our chest muscles, while our back bundle is more closely related to our back muscles.

When we exercise the chest muscles, the shoulder muscles mainly play the role of assisting strength and stabilizing the body. Many people will use fixed equipment such as Smith bench press when exercising chest muscles. Under such exercise, the stimulation to our shoulder muscles is relatively small. In the long run, the shoulder muscles will be worse than the chest level, which will slow down the progress of our chest muscles.

When the back muscles are exercising, they also need the shoulder muscles as stable points and auxiliary points. If the shoulder muscles are poor, there will be a situation that the shoulders can't bear during exercise, and the progress of chest muscles and back muscles will be limited because of the lack of shoulder strength. From this perspective, it is very important to strengthen shoulder strength.

Second, the visual effect of shoulder muscles is very important. When we exercise, we mainly want to make our figure look better, and the shoulder muscle is a very special muscle, which connects our back, chest muscles and arms. Therefore, people with stronger shoulder muscles will have fuller chest muscles, and their back muscles will be stretched by their shoulders and look wider.

When we exercise our shoulders, our shoulder width will widen, and when we exercise our back muscles, we also hope that our back muscles will widen. The visual effects of these two points complement each other, so the visual effect of exercising shoulder muscles is very helpful to the back muscles.
