Photos of Leshan Giant Buddha in the late Qing Dynasty. Located at the side of Lingyun Temple on the east bank of Minnan, Leshan, Sichuan, near the intersection of Dadu River, Qingyi River and Minjiang River. The giant Buddha is a seated statue of Maitreya, with a height of 7 1 m, which is the largest cliff stone statue in China.

The shopkeeper and man of Dexingcheng Business Firm in Leshan, Sichuan. Photographed by British naturalist Ernest H. henry wilson. From 1899 to 19 1 1, he visited Sichuan three times to investigate the distribution of local plants and look for new varieties of flowers and trees.

Dexingcheng was founded in 1890, mainly engaged in the wholesale business of cotton yarn. It belongs to the famous Leshan Yangjia. The Yang family owns a large number of paved real estate in Leshan City, and operates a variety of businesses, so they are called "Yang Bancheng".
