The main base used by American Airlines Group is Denton Municipal Airport (DTO). At present, the school does not use satellite bases. Denton Airport, located about 50 kilometers north of Dallas, is a general aviation airport managed by the municipal government. There are 12 1 airline activities in the airport. In addition to the training of American Airlines Group, there are only a few private jet activities and helicopter training aviation activities, which have little impact on the training of flight academy.

Denton Airport has 352 days a year suitable for flight training. The airport is open 24 hours a day. If the tower is not open, it will become an uncontrolled airport. The airport tower is managed by FAA and is open for a period of time every day, from Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 8 pm every day; Saturday and Sunday, 7 am to 6 pm. The fuel is provided by American Airlines Group's own fixed base operator at the airport.

The facilities of American Airlines Group cover an area of 2,880 square meters, of which the teaching room covers an area of over 1000 square meters, and the hangar and maintenance room covers an area of 2,000 square meters.

At present, the teaching rooms include 8 classrooms, 8 offices, 1 dispatching room, 2 simulation training rooms, 1 computer room and 1 student locker room. Hangar and maintenance room include three hangars, parts room, equipment room, machinery workshop, apron refueling, pilot workshop, warehouse and office.

The classrooms of American Airlines Flight Academy are well-equipped and comfortable. There is computer projection equipment in the classroom. Students are very formal every day.

Class hours are 4-5 hours. In addition to providing students with various teaching materials, students are also provided with course slide folders before class, so that students can concentrate on listening without taking notes.

The computer room is open to all students every day, equipped with computers and laser printers. Students can use computers to send and receive emails, check the weather, learn extracurricular knowledge and learn the use of navigation systems such as GPS. The simulation training room is equipped with the latest simulation training equipment with advanced technology. For example, some trainers will be equipped with a 220-degree view, three-dimensional high-definition satellite images, and dynamic control load (DCL) so that students can train more realistically on the trainers.
