Introduction to children:
The International Convention on the Rights of the Child defines a child as anyone under the age of 65-438+08. On February 29th, the 23rd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Seventh NPC approved the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Cooperate with people's organizations, international organizations, news media and individuals to transform the obligations stipulated in this Convention from a pure declaration of intent into a concrete action plan to improve the lives of all children in China.
The Convention on the Rights of the Child entered into force in China on April 1992. The Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly 1989 165438+ on1October 20th, which is the most widely recognized international convention in history.
Physical quality:
Strengthen children's physique. Promote sunshine sports and offer physical education and health classes. Ensure that children have at least 1 hour moderate and above intensity exercise every day, and cultivate children's good exercise habits. Fully implement the "National Standards for Students' Physical Health" and improve the physical examination and physical monitoring system for students.
Encourage public sports facilities to open to surrounding schools and children free of charge or at preferential prices, implement the policy of opening school sports facilities to students after school and holidays, and support schools to purchase after-school sports services from sports social organizations.
Further strengthen the construction of supporting public infrastructure such as outdoor sports, fitness and leisure. Arrange children's work and rest reasonably to ensure that primary school students sleep for 10 hours a day, junior high school students for 9 hours and senior high school students for 8 hours.
Disease prevention:
Strengthen the prevention and treatment of childhood diseases. Focus on premature delivery, low birth weight, anemia, obesity, abnormal psychological behavior, poor vision, dental caries and other children's health problems. Popularize appropriate technologies for the prevention and treatment of childhood diseases, and establish early screening, diagnosis and intervention service mechanisms. Strengthen children's oral health care, and control the caries rate of children aged 12 within 25%.
Strengthen the management of children's major infectious diseases and emerging infectious diseases, as well as the mother-to-child blocking of AIDS, syphilis and hepatitis B, improve the diagnosis and treatment system, drug supply system and comprehensive security system for children's hematological diseases and malignant tumors, and develop specific drugs for treating malignant tumors and other diseases. Formulate a scientific and reasonable catalogue of rare diseases and strengthen the management of rare diseases. Popularize and apply appropriate techniques in pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine.
