The seven gentlemen's occupation is mod in Sims 4, in which two new occupations have been added: athlete and businessman. There will be two sub-occupations in each occupation directory, which further subdivides the differences between similar occupations and enables players to choose the most wanted occupation in Sims4.

Businessmen can also be understood as financiers and entrepreneurs, and their careers will be subdivided into angel investors or business tycoons; Gym athletes are classified as members who are eager to enter the Hall of Fame or Mr./Ms. Solar System.

Each sub-occupation in The Sims 4 has its own vocational courses and goals, giving players different life experiences. Players who complete these four new professional challenges can unlock four different "professional reward rooms", which can be found in the construction mode.

EA also announced that all Sims 4 players will receive a free "holiday celebration package", including a series of Christmas costumes and decorations. This free DLC can be downloaded in the game or on the origin page.
