Guniujiang belongs to Chizhou City, Anhui Province, and Huangshan City, Anhui Province is located at the junction of shitai county and Qimen County. It is one of the three high mountains in southern Anhui, 22 kilometers away from Shitai County, with the main peak at an altitude of 1.727.6 meters and a total area of 6,700 hectares.

Because its mountain shape resembles a bull falling from the sky, it is named Jiangniu. It is divided into five scenic spots: main peak scenic spot, lingshan scenic spot, Shuanglong Valley scenic spot, Longmen scenic spot and Kannonji scenic spot. The first four of them are located in shitai county, and Kannonji Scenic Area is located in Qimen County.

Guniujiang subtropical humid climate has obvious characteristics, the temperature in the forest is moderate, the sunshine is soft, and the negative ion content is as high as 2500 /cm3, so it is called natural oxygen bar. It is especially refreshing to enter the scenic spot. Common tree species are Liquidambar formosana, Pinus massoniana, Litsea cubeba, Primula, Cinnamomum camphora, Castanopsis eyrei and Cyclobalanopsis glauca. The forest is filled with healthy substances emitted by trees, which is the best place for fitness, education, scientific research and tourism, and is listed as the scientific investigation and exploration base for teenagers in China.

Due to the long land-forming history and complex topographic changes, a large number of ancient animal and plant species that lived in Tertiary and early Quaternary about 70 million to 2 million years ago can be found in Guniujiang Mountain area. For example, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Taxus chinensis and Cephalotaxus fortunei left before Tertiary, Ginkgo biloba is a famous living fossil, and Guniujiang contains a large number of biological species.
