Precautions for mountaineering
1. Mountaineering is not only a test of lower limb motor function, but also a challenge to cardiopulmonary function. Therefore, before climbing the mountain, people with little exercise, the elderly and patients with chronic diseases had better have a comprehensive physical examination to avoid accidents. Those with abnormal electrocardiogram, myocardial ischemia, chest tightness, premature beats and arrhythmia should give up mountaineering and choose other sports. For those who lack sports foundation and have no ideas, we should do what we can.
2. Avoid climbing mountains before dawn. In the early morning of autumn, the temperature is low and the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is large. Stimulated by cold air, it is easy to induce heart disease or hypertension, especially for the elderly. It is best to climb the mountain at dawn after breakfast. Patients with cardiovascular diseases should carry commonly used first-aid drugs with them.
3. Know the hiking route in advance, try to avoid steep paths, and don't climb the mountain rock wall alone. It is also necessary to plan the rest and dining places, and it is best to have acquaintances to lead the way to prevent blind trespassing in the mountains.
4. Take as little luggage as possible and go into battle lightly. Old people have bad legs and feet and unstable gait, which is prone to injury accidents. It is best to be accompanied by family or friends. Carrying crutches not only saves physical strength, but also contributes to safety.
5. Do warm-up exercises. If the mountain you want to climb is very high, or you don't usually climb very much, then spend 15 minutes doing some muscle stretching exercises to relax your muscles as much as possible. You will feel much more relaxed and comfortable after warming up.
6. When climbing a mountain, you should concentrate. When you enjoy the scenery, you should stop. For the elderly and infirm, take a rest 10 minute after walking for half an hour to avoid excessive fatigue.
7. Don't look tall. Looking up when climbing a mountain can be scary. Usually, their eyes stay three or five meters ahead. If the mountain road is steep, it is best to take the zigzag route, which can reduce the slope.
8. Distract your attention. When climbing a mountain, don't always think about how long it will take. You have to take your time and stop and go to fully appreciate the fun of rock climbing. When you feel tired, you can enjoy the surrounding scenery.
9. Don't sit on the wet ground and tuyere during rest. You can loosen your collar slightly when you sweat. Don't take off your clothes and hat in case you catch a cold. When climbing a mountain, the human body will sweat a lot, so it is especially important to replenish water.
10. Relax when going downhill. Control your steps when you go down the hill. Don't rush too fast, or you will get hurt easily. Also pay attention to relaxing the muscles of the knee. If it is stretched too tightly, it will cause pressure on the joints of the legs and easily make the muscles tired. The key point of going down the mountain is that your legs are slightly rolled out, and the word "eight" is slightly clicked. When you walk down the steps, your heel touches the ground first. Don't step on it for too long. Make sure to step on the steps with the second half of your foot. You can also prepare an MP3 or a mobile phone with playback function. It's best to play that kind of March music continuously, and you won't feel tired when you step on it while listening.
