Yongchuan Xiuya is a famous needle tea, which belongs to green tea. Produced in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, it mainly includes Wuyunshan, Yinshan, August Mountain, Lushan and Huanggua Mountain in Yongchuan District. Developed and produced by Tea Research Institute of Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences 1959, and officially named Yongchuan Xiuya by Professor Chen Jue, a famous domestic tea expert, on 1964.
Its processing technology won the national invention patent in 2004. The processing technology mainly includes five processes: spreading, fixing, rolling, throwing water, making strips and drying. Distribution of origin
The planting areas of Yongchuan tea buds include Wu Yun, Yinshan, Bayue, Jishan and Huangguashan in Yongchuan District. It is mainly distributed in five tea-producing towns in Yongchuan: Chashan Zhuhai Office, Daan Town, Hegeng Town, Yongrong Town and Sanjiao Town, and its output accounts for 85% of the total output. ?

Yongchuan is located in subtropical humid monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, early warming in spring, high temperature in summer, concentrated rainfall, abundant sunshine and the same rain and heat.
Seasonally, the relative humidity is about 80%, the frost-free period is 320 days, and the soil pH value is 4.5~6.5 (slightly acidic), which is very suitable for the growth of tea trees.
