Executive summary:
Mount Tai is a famous mountain in China, the first of the five mountains. It stands in the east of North China Plain and rises from the hills of Shandong Province. The mountains are stacked and the momentum is extraordinary.
Mount Tai is a majestic mountain. Yuhuangding, the main peak, is only 1.545 meters above sea level, but its height difference with the surrounding mountains and plains is about 1.300 meters, so the majesty of Mount Tai is incomparable to other famous mountains.
Mount Tai, with its majestic, dignified and simple natural form, has become an important source of China people's aesthetic practice.
At the same time, people endow Mount Tai with their own aesthetic ideals and materialize their aesthetic consciousness in various natural and human landscapes of Mount Tai, making it the crystallization of China's aesthetic creation.
As a typical representative of China's traditional famous mountains, Mount Tai has a long history and a special position in the eyes of China people. It was listed as a national key scenic spot in 1982, and was officially listed in the World Cultural and Natural Heritage List by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 1987, becoming a precious heritage of all mankind.

There are many famous mountains in China.
Among the many famous mountains, Mount Taishan in Shandong, Mount Hengshan in Hunan, Mount Huashan in Shaanxi, Mount Hengshan in Shanxi and Mount Songshan in Henan are distributed in the east, south, west and north of the country. They have been regarded as sacred mountains guarding one side since ancient times and are collectively called the Five Mountains.
Among the five mountains, Mount Tai in Dongyue is rooted in the east, reflecting the sea, with rich occurrence and profound cultural accumulation, and is honored as the head of the five mountains and the town mountain of the country.
From ancient times to the end of 18, it has always been the first choice for emperors to worship gods, worship Zen and cruise.
This book covers the formation of Mount Tai, the historical facts of emperors' sacrifices to Mount Tai, the culture, religion and folk customs of Mount Tai, and the remains of ancient thinkers, politicians, poets and celebrities in Mount Tai. It is the most detailed book describing Mount Tai that I have seen so far.
There are more than 220 pictures in the book, which complement each other with the words, vividly showing the magical beauty of Taishan spring, the changes of scenery in the morning and evening, and the grotesque Buddhist temples.

foreword
The most distinctive feature of Shandong's scenery is its rich cultural accumulation and unrestrained natural scenery.
The sea is calm, the mountains are majestic, two people meet, and the mountains and seas are intertwined, changing the infinite fairy scenery on earth.
Shandong was called Qingzhou in ancient times, and Gong Yu's phrase "Haideiwei Qingzhou" has long positioned Shandong's scenery between the ten mountains and the sea.
Archaeology calls Shandong's heavy cultural accumulation "Haidai culture", that is, the Chinese regional civilization developed between Mount Tai and the arrow-shaped coastline and matched with the marine culture.
At the same time as Beijingers, there were "Yiyuan people" and Yishu microlithic culture-northern new culture-Dawenkou culture-Longshan culture, which was unique in China and formed a complete prehistoric cultural system.
This is Qilu land. From the pre-Qin Dynasty to the Northern Song Dynasty, it was in the political and economic center of China, leaving behind the remains of Shaowu, Shang Lu, Weizi, Huan Gong, Guanzhong, Sun Wu, Kong Qiu, Mencius and Mo Zhai, and the civilizations of Shangdu, Qidu and Ludu, which were hundreds of years earlier than Qin Changcheng. So far, it is full of the fragrance of Chinese civilization.
Shandong has a border of more than 4,000 kilometers, of which 3,000 kilometers directly enter the sea.
The majestic Mount Tai is connected with Yishan, Mengshan, Laoshan, Yishan and Kunlun Mountains into a ridge, and then tightly embraced with the blue sea. The mountains and islands, Jintan Xishu and the harbor are connected, forming a beautiful "sea scenery" on the west coast of the Pacific Ocean.
In the past century, Shandong people have made great contributions to the cause of national independence and people's liberation. The memorial sites of the Sino-Japanese War, Taierzhuang War, Laiwu Campaign and Menglianggu Campaign are places that many tourists yearn for.
Shandong folk tourism vividly shows the simple folk customs of Shandong people, such as diligence, ingenuity, helping others and keeping promises.
It is also the forefront of China's reform and opening up. High-tech development zones, economic development zones, sightseeing industries and sightseeing agriculture show great charm to Chinese and foreign tourists.
Tourism is a satisfaction of people's desire for exploration, discovery and cognition.
It is hoped that the publication of this series of books will not only provide a new perspective for tourists at home and abroad, but also promote the self-awareness of Shandong people in sorting out tourism resources and developing tourism literature.
How happy we are, to meet friends from afar!

Abstract 1 Hushan Reservoir is located in the northeast of Wang Mu pond, near Wang Mu pond, which is a combination of Hushan and Qiuzai Bay (1956 was converted into a reservoir).
Tiger Mountain is located in the east of Feiqiuling. It is rich and simple, but it is famous for two allusions.
First, Confucius saw a woman crying in a grave near Mount Tai. After some answers, Confucius broke the eternal aphorism that "tyranny is fiercer than tigers".
According to legend, in the 13th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (AD 1748), Emperor Wang came to Mount Tai for the first time, where he shot tigers and set up a monument of "the land where Qianlong shot tigers".
Qiuzai Bay is to the west of Hushan. After the reconstruction of the reservoir, it has become a combined landscape where mountains and rivers complement each other.
The water capacity of 80,000 cubic meters not only adds color to Mount Tai, but also supplies part of water for Taicheng.
Since Hushan was independently turned into Hushan Park and Hushan Scenic Area, it has become the best place for Taicheng people to exercise in the morning and relax at night.
Hushan Reservoir was originally located in the bay. According to legend, a long time ago, there was a god who was considerate and saved the world from danger, who raised clouds and sowed rain and cared for agriculture and mulberries.
The people appreciate and worship them.

Book introduction:
Taishan folk custom emphasizes the "mountain" culture and focuses on local social, economic, tourism and other folk customs.
Undoubtedly, the development of folk culture has obvious diversity and regionality, and each region has both the connectivity of Chinese civilization and obvious differences.
Even in the same province, the folk culture of each micro-region has its own characteristics.
Shandong folk customs, influenced by different historical, cultural and geographical conditions, show strong local customs and customs, showing strong diversity and regionality of Qilu folk customs.
Qilu Folk Custom Series is a series of books based on this, which reflects thousands of folk customs in Qilu.
"Ge Juan" is my real name on my ID card, not a pseudonym.
People are called "old writers" and "big shots", and their cooking is better than that of ordinary teachers.
Writing is a sideline as a full-time educator.
I started publishing books at the end of last century, and I still can't stop (please go to the publishing house for details).
Favorite things to do: read thousands of books and take Wan Li Road.
The person I want to see most: you who read my poor work.
Shandong was the land of Qilu in ancient times and has been called "the land of Qilu" so far.
The Great Wall of Qi has disappeared so far, on the one hand, it is the hometown of Qi people who have been "seeking profits" since ancient times, and on the other hand, it is the territory of Gulu, which is "restraining rites and educating at the end".
Qilu customs have been different since ancient times, so we should record them in detail and truthfully.
The general comprehensive statement can't describe the richness and diversity of Shandong folk culture truthfully, so we thought of making a set of Shandong folk culture series and a book for different folk culture circles in Shandong, which not only distinguishes the difference between mountains and seas, but also distinguishes Taishan, Laoshan, Kunyu Mountain and Yimeng Mountain. It not only records the folk customs of the vast rural areas, but also focuses on the urban folk customs that the predecessors did not do well; You not only make folk records of different regions, but also connect the customs of the Yellow River and the Canal into a book. It is not only a relatively macro description of regional folk culture, but also a micro exploration of one village, one town, one household and one thing with unique characteristics.
In order to show the folk customs of a province in Shandong to the world.
The selection of materials and the compilation of series will change the usual method of comprehensive statement in folk chronicles in previous years. On the premise of holistic view, take more cases, so that readers can experience all kinds of folk customs, so that Shandong people can really get a local teaching material close to festivals, and foreigners who do as the Romans do can have a reliable guide.
This series tries to make ordinary readers understand it, make tourists friends and make scholars feel useful, but it will be an outdated and irreparable legacy for Qilu local culture.
