Ge Haowen is an international master in translating China's contemporary literary works. For decades, he has introduced more than ten Mo Yan works to British readers.
Noe Dutli (no? L Dutrait) is a professor of China language and literature at the University of Provence. He has been engaged in the translation of French versions of Mo Yan's works for many years. He has translated Mo Yan's three novels, Wine Country, Chest and Hip, 4 1 Gun, and published Mo Yan's novella, The Master is More and More Humorous.
Shelley Chan, a student in Ge Haowen, is an associate professor of China language and China culture at Wittenberg University in Ohio. She has published books on Mo Yan's works.
