The former Shenyang Summer Palace is located in the south of Shenyang, on the north bank of Hunhe River, on the east side of Qingnian Street, across the road from Sheraton Hotel. The overall construction area is about 23,800 square meters, and the construction investment is nearly 20 million US dollars. The top of the building consists of two giant spherical arch shells with diameters of 90 meters and 75 meters respectively. With unique conception and extraordinary bearing, it is the largest arched building in Asia from 65438 to 0994, and the largest fully enclosed indoor air-conditioning water splashing paradise in Asia at that time. It is a large modern indoor entertainment place integrating entertainment, catering and water splashing.

As soon as I entered the playground, the first thing was the impact of the smell, a smell of bleach, which came to my face; Secondly, the impact of hearing, the super combination of human voice and underwater sound, is endless; Finally, the visual impact, happy people, wearing all kinds of colorful swimsuits, are filled with excited and happy smiles.

Look at the splashing hall on the first floor, which covers an area of 7800 square meters and can accommodate 2000 people at the same time. The indoor temperature is suitable, and various entertainment facilities are dazzling. Eight areas, such as slide pool, diving pool and surf pool, correspond to ten landscapes, such as stormy waves, nine-day waterfall, rapids, high-altitude flying swallows, deep-sea snorkeling, cabin bars, children's rolling music and fast food corridors. Don't think that the Summer Palace can only swim. It also has the largest indoor skating rink in Northeast China.

We came to the sliding pool and looked up. The slide is more than ten meters high, and there are four kinds of slides in red, yellow, green and blue side by side. We saw people flying down from the top of the slide, screaming all the way in front or behind. Finally, he rushed to the bottom of the water, fell into the swimming pool, hit the waves and drowned the voices. At the same time, people sank to the bottom of the water. The swimmer quickly put his head out of the water and then walked to the shore, with nothing but a smile on his face. We watched it for a while and were eager to try. We are going to go up and down and experience that thrilling feeling.

You know, all of us can swim except me. But I'm not afraid. I was notoriously "bold", so I followed, remembering that I rushed down the stairs with the army. Before I came down, I told her that if I couldn't stand up after rushing down, I would come and save me. She said no problem. So with the wind in my ear, I fell rapidly and my heart beat faster, as if to jump out of my throat. When I ski in the water, I feel a little flapping pain. After I fell into the water, I fluttered for a long time and choked a few mouthfuls. I thought, why didn't anyone come and fish me out? Finally, the staff couldn't stand it anymore and fished me out, otherwise the people above would be delayed. I stood up and found that the water was waist-deep. I can't stand up because I can't swim. Seeing the army coming towards me, I also blamed her for not coming to save me quickly. She said, "I'm in a hurry, too, but I can't walk fast in the water."

Play this slide and there is an episode. One of our male colleagues, his head fell off the slide, but after coming down, it was a tragedy. His swimming trunks fell into the water, which made him afraid to stand up from the water, which made the people watching on the shore burst into laughter. The next day, everyone laughed at him and swam naked in the Summer Palace, but he brazenly said, "You saw it."

This incident reminds me of going to Dalian Xinghai Park one year. In hot summer, people swim in the beach and sea water and enjoy the cool. I can't swim, floating in the water with the waves in a swimming ring, facing the coast. On that day, the sun was shining, the sea was warm, and the waves beat the coast in an orderly way. Rows of men and women in swimsuits sat on the shore, colorful and dotted with the coastline. At this time, a big wave rushed to the shore, and a man in a bathing suit was getting up and walking towards the shore. A big wave photographed his bathing suit, and everyone on the shore burst into laughter. The man was extremely embarrassed and returned to the water. I smiled and laughed, and the waves played with people like this.

After the slide, we went to play other projects, such as surfing pool, whitewater, Nine Days Waterfall and so on. I can't swim, so I have a good time. Tired of playing and hungry, we go to a fast food restaurant to eat and watch people splash water while eating. I didn't have a good time until evening.

Through this pleasant trip to the Summer Palace, I have a little feeling that I regret that I can't swim. I am envious to see that all my comrades know how to swim and swim freely in the water. Therefore, I also made up my mind to learn to swim. Later, I really learned it. I won the third place in breaststroke in this systematic sports meeting. Of course, this is another story.

In the future, whenever holidays or relatives and friends come to Shenyang, our first choice will be to swim in the Summer Palace. I often took my daughter to play when she was only three years old. She can only play in the children's pool and dare not swim with her head buried in the water. Once, I kicked her into the water while she was unprepared. After she fell into the water, she plopped up without fear. At this point, she learned to paddle and tread water by herself.

At that time, the Summer Palace was the most interesting place in Shenyang, and it was also one of the landmark buildings in Shenyang. 1997 was selected as one of the top ten scenic spots in Shenyang and the top fifty scenic spots in Liaoning. 1998 The first indoor bungee jumping in China was officially opened to the public in the Summer Palace. On June 65438+February 14, 2002, robert geller, the world's top escape master, performed a thrilling "39-second deep-water escape" in the Summer Palace.

The Summer Palace is not only a paradise for children, but also a paradise for many swimmers and fitness enthusiasts. Especially the indoor ice rink, so that you can experience the fun of ice sports all year round. The Summer Palace is also the best place for friends and relatives to get together.

After ten years of operation, the Summer Palace was closed for rectification for the first time in June 2004. Due to the decline in the viability of operating products, the cost and profit are out of balance. Coupled with the development of the Golden Gallery, the massive relocation of residents and traffic problems, the location of Youth Street where the Summer Palace is located is increasingly unsuitable for development. The Shenyang Municipal Government decided to demolish the Summer Palace, which was demolished by blasting on February 20th, 2009.

So far, the Summer Palace, one of the top ten scenic spots in Shenyang, has completed its historical mission. The era of swimming in the Summer Palace has become history. Swimming pools have mushroomed all over Shenyang, and the Summer Palace has completely disappeared from our sight and map. Just stay in the memory and thoughts of a generation.

And this memory is hard to erase. I want to write an article about swimming today, but when I first came to the Summer Palace, I had the idea of learning to swim.
