Investigation and analysis of fitness street dance exhibition in Chengdu gymnasium

Based on the present situation of fitness hip-hop dance in China, this paper analyzes the characteristics, value and development direction of fitness hip-hop dance, and puts forward some suggestions.

Body-building hip-hop dance is a more energetic body-building project extending from aerobics. It originated in new york, USA, and is the product of the development of jazz dance in 1990s. Dancers improvise, their movements are more casual, and there is more room for individuals to play. Most of the participants are black. These people dance in the street almost all day, with distinct rhythm and strong appeal. So it was popular for a while. This special "action" of rap and body has developed from an indispensable dance to the pleasure of the public.

Now fitness hip-hop has entered some key middle schools in physical education class, and some colleges and universities are also trying to make this sport enter the classroom. On the university campus, in addition to students who like street dance, many dance clubs also organize themselves to practice street dance. There are also fitness hip-hop sports organizations established in various places, or fitness hip-hop teams representing their own styles, fitness hip-hop teaching columns broadcast by CCTV Sports Channel in the morning, and so on. All these indicate that fitness hip-hop has been widely recognized in China and has penetrated into the atmosphere of social fitness and entertainment culture. Therefore, we investigate the current situation of fitness hip-hop dance in four fitness clubs in Chengdu, analyze the possible problems in the process of fitness hip-hop dance in gyms, and put forward corresponding suggestions.

I. Research objects and methods

1. Research object

There are four gymnasiums in Chengdu: Inpais Fitness Club, Li Shen Fitness Club, Qunyi Fitness Club and 25-hour Fitness Club, with fitness consumers 120 people.

2. Questionnaire survey method

In June 2007, 120 questionnaires were distributed to 120 fitness consumers in four gymnasiums in Chengdu, and 108 questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 90%, of which 104 questionnaires were valid, with an effective rate of 96.3%.

3. Literary methods

Consult the related literature of hip-hop fitness, hip-hop and aerobics.

4. Mathematical statistical methods

Summarize the questionnaire survey, establish a database and make statistical analysis.

5. Interview method

Interview some fitness enthusiasts in the random sampling area and make relevant records.

Results and analysis

Statistical analysis of gender, marital status, age, education level and occupation of participants

Statistics show that among male and female fitness consumers, married and unmarried female fitness consumers are fans of fitness hip-hop. They are all between 20 and 30 years old, followed by 3 1-40 years old, and 16 people under 20 years old account for 15.3%, indicating that fitness consumers aged 20-4 1 year old are keen on fitness hip-hop. There is also a marked differentiation in education level. Fitness consumers with higher education are mostly undergraduates and junior college students, accounting for 5 1.9%, followed by high school students and then graduate students, while fitness consumers with lower education only account for 5.8%, indicating that fitness consumers with higher education pay more attention to their health. Fitness consumers of different occupations have little difference in their preferences for fitness hip-hop, which shows that fitness hip-hop is being widely used and fitness consumers of different occupations can participate. (See Table 2-4) Survey of participants' monthly income, participation time and exercise amount.

Table 2-4 shows that the monthly income of fitness consumers (middle income class) is 2000-3000 yuan, accounting for 50%. 55.7% of their exercise time is concentrated after 18 pm, which shows that 18 pm is the best time for fitness consumers. However, 80.8% fitness consumers think that the arrangement of gym exercise is moderate; 5.6% fitness consumers think it is too big and too small; 3.84% fitness consumers think that it is a large amount of exercise and a small amount of exercise, which shows that moderate exercise can be accepted by most fitness consumers. Therefore, fitness hip-hop should be treated differently in the development process, and attention should be paid to the endurance of bodybuilders of different ages to the amount of exercise, which cannot be generalized.

Second, fitness consumers' cognition of fitness hip-hop dance

1. The function of fitness street dance

From the point of view of sports physiology, the movements of fitness hip-hop are composed of various changes such as running, jumping and turning, and the movements of joints such as head, neck, shoulders, upper limbs and trunk, such as flexion, extension, rotation, turning in circles, waves, etc., which not only pay attention to the coordination between upper limbs and lower limbs, abdomen and shoulders, head and trunk, but also pay attention to the independent movements of each part. Even the completion of an upper arm movement is an organic combination of various movements from fingers, palms and forearms to upper arms and shoulders. At the same time, pay attention to the coordination of breathing and upper body rhythm, increase a lot of head and hand movements, let the tension and relaxation of movements alternate naturally, which can better improve the coordination ability of practitioners. Its action is explosive and has many coherent actions, which is also very helpful for the exercise of musical sense and dexterity. In addition, moderate exercise intensity and aerobic exercise. At the same time, compared with general aerobic exercise, street dance has its unique charm. Instruments and aerobics stimulate muscles, mainly locally, through circular exercises, while fitness hip-hop is comprehensive, especially for parts that are not easy to move on weekdays (such as small joints and muscles). Therefore, fitness hip-hop dance has a good effect on improving cardiopulmonary function, reducing fat, enhancing ligament toughness, improving human coordination ability and shaping beautiful posture.

2. Fitness consumers know the way of fitness hip-hop.

According to the survey statistics, 43% of fitness consumers like fitness hip-hop, and they learn about fitness hip-hop mainly by watching TV sports programs (53.9%) and live watching (32.7%). It shows that fitness consumers' understanding of fitness hip-hop is still relatively simple. In the future development process, attention should be paid to strengthening the publicity of fitness hip-hop, increasing the ways for fitness enthusiasts to understand fitness hip-hop and letting more people know about this sport.

Three. conclusion and suggestion

1. Conclusion

(1) Fitness consumers are very interested in fitness hip-hop. 43% people like this sport, and 36.5% people think it is very important, which shows that it is very necessary to set up fitness hip-hop in various gyms. It is predicted that it will become the new favorite of gyms after aerobics and yoga after a period of development.

(2) Fitness consumers have a strong desire for fitness and health preservation, accounting for 69.2%. I believe this is the source of their motivation, especially the latter, which is an important prerequisite for predicting the durability of fitness hip-hop, and more and more people will join this ranks.

(3) At present, the way for fitness consumers to know about fitness hip-hop is still relatively narrow, and the publicity is not enough to meet the development needs of fitness hip-hop, and there is still a lack of fitness hip-hop coaches.

2. Suggestions

Further promotion of fitness street dance.

At present, China's fitness hip-hop dance is in an important stage of transformation from a completely spontaneous and folk state to standardization and organization. The organization and promotion of the national sports management department will effectively promote this transformation process, attract more fitness enthusiasts to join the ranks of scientific and healthy fitness hip-hop, and make this sports form with alternative culture develop and popularize faster and better.

Further strengthen the training of fitness hip-hop coaches.

Keep communication and interaction between gyms. In different provinces, there are many spontaneous exchanges and performances of fitness hip-hop, but due to strong regionality, there is little information exchange between provinces and cities, especially between economically developed areas and underdeveloped areas. In order to make fitness street dance "fire" in the country, it will not be a flash in the pan. We must strengthen the contact and communication between gyms, organize regular observation, participate in exhibition competitions, and maintain consultation and interaction.
