What should I do if my legs and feet cramp due to fitness?
Legs and leg cramps are spontaneous and forced contractions of muscles, also known as muscle spasms. It mainly occurs in the muscles of the calf and foot, accompanied by severe pain. There are many reasons for leg cramps, such as electrolyte imbalance, calcium deficiency and poor blood circulation.

Here are some ways to relieve leg cramps:

-Stretching: When the calf cramps, let the cramped muscles stretch slowly to relieve the cramping state. Take the calf as an example. When cramps occur, please immediately grasp your feet or toes with your hands and slowly straighten your instep and knee joint with downward force for a period of time. When the cramp is relieved and the pain disappears completely, we should also pay attention to the stretching time. If it is too short, you may cramp again. If you can't finish the above actions, you can finish stretching through others or with the help of foreign objects.

-Replenish water: Replenishing enough water helps to prevent cramps in legs and feet. It is recommended to drink plenty of water before, during and after exercise.

-electrolyte supplement: when the osmotic pressure of sodium, potassium and plasma in the body is unbalanced, it may cause leg cramps. Therefore, foods or drinks containing electrolytes such as sodium and potassium can be properly supplemented before and after exercise.
