The first step is to check the dashboard of the treadmill and see how it opens.
Most styles have screws inserted from the bottom of the dashboard. Take out these screws and put them in a safe place where they can be reassembled. Now you can take out the cover freely. However, it should be noted that it needs to be untied when it is taken out, because the two parts are still connected by wires. Take off the lid and put it aside.
The second step is to find the slot where the key is inserted.
This mechanism is supported by a simple step. When the key is inserted into the slot, it can become a switch and connect two wires at the same time. After the circuit is connected, the instrument can run. Check the notch, and you can find that the two wires are connected in the same or different directions. When these wires are integrated into a complete distribution line, the safety device allows the treadmill to start.
The third step is to cut two wires with wire cutters or knives, but as close as possible to the keyway.
At the same time, leave as many wires as possible for operation. Strip the bottom of each wire with a wire stripper or a knife. Expose at least 1/4 bare wire to ensure good docking. Wrap the ends of the two wires together and wrap them with insulating tape to ensure that they will not be short-circuited or manually operated for a long time.
Step 4: Reassemble the cover of the instrument panel.
Remember to reconnect all the wires that were taken out before. Tighten the screws from the back and fix them in the correct position. Test the treadmill and see how the bypass works. Remember, the key no longer functions as a safety device. Therefore, in the event of an accident, the running machine will continue to run until the power supply is turned off or unplugged.
