1. Transportation and accommodation
Air ticket: round-trip special air ticket ***650 yuan; (Go to: morning of June 23rd10-Return: afternoon of June 25th 13: 00).
Ticket price: the bus in Haikou is generally 1 yuan/person, and the longest bus in distant places such as holiday beach is 5 yuan/person.
Accommodation: At first, we chose to stay in a youth hostel, but later we found a very cost-effective hotel in Qunar.com called Haikou Tongmei Hongyuan Resort.
Tonghongyuan resort
Advantages:
1) Double bed is cheap, and it will be in 68 yuan during the activity. You must add various discounts on Qunar.com to discount to 6 1 yuan/night;
2) Convenient transportation: Close to the north gate of Hainan University, only half an hour's drive from Baishamen Park and Qilou Old Street. In meilan airport, you can take bus No.2 1 directly to Yixin Road Station (5 yuan) or take airport bus No.21(20 yuan) to Civil Aviation Hotel and transfer to bus No.3 (2 yuan).
3) The room is air-conditioned and relatively cool.
4) Enthusiasm of service: The boss is two Shanxi people, who are very enthusiastic.
Disadvantages:
1) is not a particularly formal hotel, but a residential building. There are no bath towels and combs, but we usually bring our own toiletries, including toothpaste, toothbrush, towel, bath towel and so on. When going out;
2) Next to the road, downstairs is the barbecue shop. Evening is nightlife time. Many students are drinking downstairs and don't close until about 2 am, because my best friend and I are very tired every day and fall asleep as soon as we go to bed, so it doesn't affect!
3) The bathroom smelled bad the next day, because we were in a hurry to go out the next day and didn't open the window to breathe. When I came back, there was a strange smell in the bathroom, which was distributed to the room. It is suggested that if we go out, we must open the window to get some air.
Generally speaking, transportation and accommodation costs are around 200 yuan.
First stop: Baishamen Park and Hainan University.
Baishamen park
University Of Hainan
Baishamen Park has a large area, many green plants and good greening. It is quite suitable for young couples to take photos and walk, mainly including fitness paths, playgrounds, beaches and so on. Entertainment facilities include ferris wheel, large roller coaster and so on. The water quality of this beach is rather turbid. It is recommended not to wear high heels and bring mosquito repellent.
On the way back, we passed by Hainan University and had a brief look. Because the university was too big and we were too hungry, we didn't finish it. Later, we ate in a snack street near Hainan University, and we forgot the name. However, after reading it on the Internet, there are snack streets in the south and north gates of Hainan University, so you can go and have a look.
Ps: The west gate of Hainan University (not sure if it is this gate) can see the night view of Century Bridge. We are too tired to give up.
Second stop: Qilou Old Street
Qiloulao steet
The next morning, we had planned to go to the mangrove forest, but the mangrove forest was in the suburbs, and there was no direct bus at 8: 30. My girlfriend and I are lazy. We didn't get up until nine o'clock, and finally went straight to arcade old street!
Get off at Zhonglou Station and get off at the old arcade opposite.
bell tower
Most of the arcades were built by overseas Chinese who came back from Nanyang at the beginning of last century, drawing on the architectural style of Nanyang at that time. At first glance, the exterior of the arcade is mottled with Gu Zhuo, but when you appreciate it carefully, you will find that most of those buildings are full of elegant and meticulous sculptures and western-style decorations, which are very baroque. The arcade floor is not too high, with two or three floors, some of which still retain earlier businesses, and the railings, doors and windows are beautifully carved. Because of its uniqueness, it won the title of the first ten famous historical and cultural streets in China.

When we went to Quirrell,
Later, we came to a car-free street (which should belong to the main scenic spot). There are umbrellas supported by shops on both sides of the road, and there are tables and chairs under the umbrella. We bought a coconut and sat there chatting and resting. It rained lightly for more than ten minutes in the middle, which was cooler. The main attractions inside are Nanyang Cultural Exhibition Hall and Tianhou Palace, because I only remember taking pictures and have never seen them.
Because we didn't have a car, we took a lot of photos, even throwing hats barefoot, and so on. We are not afraid of the eyes of the shopkeeper beside passers-by. It seems a little embarrassing to think about it now (smiling expression).

Third stop: Holiday Beach
Holiday beach is far away. Baidu map shows that it takes about an hour to drive from Zhonglou Station, but the actual distance is less than an hour.
Holiday beach
When we arrived at the holiday beach at about 4: 30, the tide had not yet risen. We were both embarrassed to wear swimsuits, so the photos we took were not very good. At about 6: 30, the sun set and the tide began to rise, but at that time their mobile phones were almost dead, so we went straight back. Unfortunately, we didn't see the night view.
If you want to play, go at 5 o'clock and arrive around 6 o'clock, just in time for the high tide, and you can see a beautiful night view. But pay attention to the late bus and don't miss it.
There are many places to take pictures on the beach, such as coconut trees on the beach, beach and water.
food
Hainan specialty food We ate Hainan powder and dregs vinegar in Qilou Old Street, but we didn't finish it. Residue vinegar is basically a powder mixed with a lot of seafood, which is a bit sour. Hainan powder is especially sweet. Guizhou likes hot and sour, and it's too late to eat only two thirds of it.

In the afternoon, I also drank Hainan smoothies in Qilou Old Street, recommending durian flavor.
Cool and refreshing
On the last night, we had a meal in Changde, Hunan, and it was enough to go to Haikou to eat Changde food, but it was like this when there was no spicy food.
Changde cuisine
There are many famous snacks in Haikou, but I am too lazy to get up. I spent most of my time taking pictures, so I didn't eat much. What a pity!
About this trip
The three places we went to were free of tickets, and the food didn't cost much. Excluding the air ticket, it cost about 300 yuan for two people to share equally, which is very suitable for students who are traveling in poverty and just watching the sea.
If you plan to play a good introductory game, you'd better strictly follow the introductory time, otherwise you won't have so much motivation when time is chaotic, just like us, haha! Have a nice trip!
