brief introduction
China is the only country in the world that regularly hosts the National Agricultural Games. Why do you want to hold a farmers' meeting? From a big perspective, it fully reflects the great attention of the party and the state to the "three rural issues" and the deep concern for 900 million farmers. From a small point of view, it is to implement the idea of "people-oriented", and to grasp rural sports is actually to grasp labor productivity. Farmers can have more vigorous energy to put into production through physical exercise. Moreover, wealthy farmers also need a special stage to show their new image.
I am used to watching high-level competitive competitions such as the Olympic Games and the National Games, and then I will find it interesting to look at the "agricultural flavor" competitions with different styles. The "agricultural flavor" of the farmers' games is first reflected in its interest, appreciation and participation. Drought-resistant water-lifting and seedling-protecting competitions, in-situ seedling throwing, grain removal, and collective rush to a well-off society all come from farmers' daily life and are rich in rural characteristics of China. The greatest pleasure of this kind of competition is that it doesn't pay attention to the result of the competition, and both the contestants and the audience feel endless. The reporter saw many players practicing transplanting rice on the transplanting board, only to see them fall like flies. They are really experts in transplanting rice! I went over to ask, but I was told that they had mechanically transplanted rice there. Ask about the feelings of transplant training and competition, and most of the answers are "fun"! Two simple words tell the changes in rural areas of China. They are no longer the "mud poles" of the past. They have learned to enjoy life and play. They want to play as dazzling stars on the field and show their "playing ball" image in front of the people of the whole country. Another feature of this year's Farmers' Games is that the qualification examination of athletes has broken the hard threshold of agricultural registered permanent residence in the past, and a new regulation has been added. Residents living in towns and villages 16 years old or older can sign up for the competition. This is to adapt to the development of society and the new situation that the dual structure of urban and rural areas is gradually broken. "Agricultural flavor" is no longer synonymous with local culture. They are not fake farmers, fake farmers, not competing under the banner of farmers and undermining the principle of fair competition. They are new socialist farmers.
He Zeng, honorary chairman of the Chinese Olympic Committee, said: "The peasant sports meeting is a pioneering work of China sports." The significance of this pioneering work may be to show that peasant brothers can improve their quality of life and run towards a well-off society with greater happiness and fun!
