With the continuous development of the national fitness campaign, the truth that "life lies in exercise" is more and more understood by people, and more and more people take part in physical exercise and care about health. China Wushu has a long history. As one of the important martial arts, Tai Ji Chuan is a favorite sport of people in China and even the world, and it is also a fitness exercise suitable for middle-aged and elderly people. The author has been engaged in social sports instructors for many years, mainly for middle-aged and elderly students. Limited by their own cultural level, memory and ability to accept new things, it is more difficult for middle-aged and elderly people to learn Tai Ji Chuan than for teenagers and children.
After years of teaching experience, the author has accumulated some experience, and briefly talked about some strategies in the teaching of middle-aged and elderly Tai Ji Chuan.
First, adjust the coach's own psychology and take students as the center.
In view of the uneven foundation of middle-aged and elderly students, coaches should first adjust their psychology. In teaching, he should not only have a unified and coherent teaching purpose, but also have different treatment methods. With the greatest patience and enthusiasm, he will explain and demonstrate the movements of the routines one by one, and take students as the center, so that every student can gain something.
In addition to teaching students Tai Ji Chuan's standard movements, we should also pay attention to explaining the connotation of Tai Ji Chuan in theory, and ask students to keep the two basic essentials of "peace of mind" and "relaxation of body" at any stage and step when practicing Tai Ji Chuan. "Peace of mind" and "physical relaxation" are the most basic requirements determined by the sports characteristics of Tai Ji Chuan. The so-called "peace of mind" refers to concentration, concentration and concentration when boxing. "Body relaxation" refers to the natural stretching of all parts of the body during exercise to eliminate tension. Helping students master these two basic essentials can also help them better master Tai Ji Chuan.
Second, guide students to obtain information.
In teaching, the meaning, name and function of attack and skill are used to explain and demonstrate. In the demonstration, we should not only "convey the shape" but also "convey the spirit". For example: "waving the pipa", the action style should be the same as holding the pipa; The action of "the crane brightens its wings" is like a crane spreading its beautiful wings. In this way, students are induced to imagine, understand the essentials of action, use their brains and understand the positive significance of action. This teaching method not only makes the movements constantly standardized, but also improves students' interest in learning.
Third, use jingles to help you remember.
It is more effective to use some easy-to-understand formulas or jingles to enhance students' memory of actions. For example, the consciousness conveyed by Taiji can be engraved in the heart with the words "internal strength and vitality, external lightness and calmness" or prompted "ears are not closed, eyes are not closed, and abdomen is not closed". Speaking of breathing, students should be reminded to be calm and take chances, that is, "when carving, eyes are fixed on the waist, and the abdomen is relaxed and warmed up." For the requirements of body posture, you can use "chest and back pulling, shoulders sinking and elbows hanging, and gas sinking into the abdomen". In the operation of the action, it is required to "walk like a cat and move like a silk reeling". Tai Ji Chuan asked for "flowing water, continuous, like the sea, gushing".
In addition, students can be reminded in simple language, such as "start to move upwards", and "slowly stretch your arms upwards, like pulling up a rib"; When falling, you can use "like a balloon into the water, walking without force", and when the upper body is required to stand upright naturally, you can use "like a bowl of water on your head, moving left and right without deviation".
Fourth, decomposition teaching method and complete movements are used alternately.
Beginners of Tai Ji Chuan often feel that they can't take care of their hands, feet, limbs and trunk, and it is difficult to master them. According to the difficulties and characteristics of beginners, it is best to divide Tai Ji Chuan's movements into several movements and teach them with corresponding passwords. The function of decomposition teaching method is to make students know the details of the action and master the whole action quickly, but it must be combined with the whole action when decomposing, otherwise the action will be incoherent, uneven and disjointed. Therefore, in the initial stage, the decomposition teaching method was emphasized, such as simplifying the 24-style Tai Ji Chuan. "Starting" can be divided into three movements: 1, the center of gravity shifts to the right leg and the left toe touches the ground. 2, feet open, shoulder width. 3. the center of gravity sinks.
For another example, "wild horses divide their manes" can be broken down into thirteen actions. By decomposing teaching methods, the learning progress will be greatly improved. However, it should be remembered that after the decomposition teaching, students must be guided to finish the exercises in time, gradually reduce the traces of action decomposition and strengthen the consistency of action.
Fifth, review constantly to strengthen and deepen the impression.
In the process of teaching new routine courses, new moves will be learned in each class, but many middle-aged and elderly students forget the new moves in the next class. Therefore, in teaching, we should constantly review and strengthen each Protestant movement, and consolidate and strengthen new movements before the end of each class and the beginning of the next class, so as to strengthen students' self-confidence. Avoid students finding it "difficult to learn" and "forgetting quickly" after learning, thus losing interest in learning.
Six, in the class to train a few students with good foundation and strong ability to accept, as pacesetters.
The pacesetter stood under the unified command of the coach, and the teacher shouted the password in front of him for command, reminding the pacesetter to act at any time. In this way, no matter how the direction changes, students can see the action of "pacesetter", which speeds up the whole class to master routines, and at the same time stimulates students' learning mood and encourages each student to strive to be a "pacesetter".
These are my experiences in teaching Tai Ji Chuan. It is believed that only by correctly grasping students' characteristics and teaching strategies can middle-aged and elderly students learn Tai Ji Chuan better and faster.
