This was created by her in the women's 100 meter hurdles final of Chengdu Universiade on August 4, 2023. This achievement not only won her a silver medal, but also made her qualified for the Paris Olympic Games, becoming the first player in Sichuan to obtain this qualification. Wu Yanni is an excellent hurdler. She won the women's 100 meter hurdles in the 2020 national athletics championships and the 2023 national athletics championships, setting a new record for Asian women's 100 meter hurdles.

She also won the silver medal in the women's 20km walk in the 20 16 Rio Olympic Games and the silver medal in the 20 19 Doha World Championships. Her dream is to win glory for her motherland and hometown on the international stage and get on the highest podium.

Wu Yanni's Early Experience

Wu Yanni practiced dancing in primary school and won the first prize in the children's cultural and sports competition. I study dance in Fushun Cultural Center. She wants to be a dance major. However, in the fifth grade of primary school, she was selected by Zizhong County Youth Sports School because of her excellent performance in the county primary and secondary school sports meeting. So, Wu Yanni began to take the path of the wild trail.

Wu Yanni went from elementary school to junior high school, high school and university. In 2009, due to the need of professional training, he was registered and naturalized in Neijiang Capital School, and was selected by Yang Hui, the hurdler coach of Beijing Sport University, and began to carry out comprehensive and systematic professional training and exercise.
