Although Yin is the hottest Cantonese opera in Hong Kong today, she has spared no effort to promote Cantonese opera and Cantonese opera. She has served as vice chairman of Bahe Guild and chairman of Cantonese Opera Actors Association for many times. The Cantonese Opera Development Advisory Committee appointed by the government in 2006-2008 includes five new Cantonese opera professionals, and Yin is one of them. Yin called the opera fans "Yan Lu Ya Ji".
