Communication skills between designers and customers
Designers should treat all customers equally, and don't let customers think that you favor one over the other, and don't let customers think that you don't value him or other customers. Although customers vary in size, designers should not be separated. I sorted it out below for your reference.

0 1: Select a topic.

In our communication with customers, in order to enhance mutual understanding and draw closer to each other, we need to win customers' goodwill through some topics other than home improvement, often not because of how professional your design is, but because of how close your relationship with customers is. Talking less about decoration and talking more about other topics of interest to both sides will not only benefit designers, but also divert customers' attention and let both sides know more. However, communication needs to choose a topic. Some designers just don't know what to talk to customers, which sometimes leads to awkward atmosphere. Here are some examples:

02: Pay attention to feedback

Designers should pay special attention to customer feedback. Some designers think that the design scheme is perfect and often don't listen to some opinions put forward by customers. Some designers think that customers are extremely unprofessional. When customers put forward opinions or plans, designers think that the plan is very rustic, and resolutely disagree with the design according to the customer's plan, or even modify it according to the customer's opinions, which is full of great emotions. As we all know, everyone's aesthetic views are different, and home improvement is not a work of art, but the customer's own housing, so designers should respect the customer's opinions and feedback, so as to sign more orders.

Paying attention to customer feedback is mainly reflected in two aspects: first, respecting customers' aesthetics and hobbies. From a practical point of view, some customers ask designers to make more cabinets. Although the designer thinks that there are too many cabinets and the indoor space is crowded, he still has to agree to follow the customer's plan. Some customers have some novel ideas. For example, some customers want to cook fish in the living room with a floor sink. Although the idea is absurd, designers should still use their brains to meet the needs of customers, and they can scare customers with construction difficulties or high quotations, instead of rejecting them all in advance.

On the other hand, the feedback to customers should be determined in time. Some designers were absent-minded when customers looked at the floor plan, and some ideas put forward by customers were not remembered in time, so that they were not modified or realized when customers came to see it for the second time. Customers are very unhappy with designers who don't pay attention to their feedback. Therefore, the designer should prepare a notebook when the customer looks at the plan or budget, record the customer's ideas one by one, and then adjust or complete them immediately to ensure that the customer will be satisfied when he comes over next time.
