Can you really lose weight by shaking your left hand?
Myth: You often see advertisements for some high-tech weight-loss devices in Merchant A, such as making you tremble when exercising (or even not exercising) in various ways, which can accelerate the burning of fat. Is this method credible?

Truth: A research team at the University of Augusta in the United States did experiments with mice. It is found that "whole body vibration" can really achieve the slimming effect similar to normal exercise. These instruments that make the body tremble transmit energy to the body through vibration, stimulate the body to produce stretching reflex and promote muscle contraction and relaxation.

However, two kinds of mice were used in the experiment. One is a "diabetic" obese mouse with special genetic modification, and human beings are obese patients with diabetes and dyslipidemia. The other is a fat mouse with normal genes. Whether shaking or walking, their muscle and blood sugar indexes have not changed significantly.
