Laozi's way of keeping in good health

Laozi said: "The disaster is greater than dissatisfaction, and the blame is greater than desire."

In other words, it never rains but it pours. The sin is too much greed. I'm afraid that physical disaster is coming.

Modern physiologists have done such an interesting experiment, that is, put a cage with rabbits next to a cage with tigers, so that rabbits can't stop watching tigers all day, don't like to eat any "delicious food" and can't sleep well. In this way, the rabbit will soon be depressed, huddled and emaciated.

As a control study, another rabbit was kept in the natural environment, and the result was very robust. From this experiment, we can see how important spirit and emotion are to people's health and longevity.

First, emphasize defense.

Laozi said, "It is better to be neutral than to talk too much", which means that talking too much is not enough, and it is better to be moderate. He also said that "the wind is endless, and the showers don't last all day", which means that the strong wind can't blow all morning, and the rainstorm can't blow all day. It is better to stay in the middle, and "staying in the middle" can last long and live long. A stormy life is always short.

Laozi believes that "going to luxury and Thailand" means getting rid of those extreme, extravagant and excessive things.

He demanded "square without cutting, honest without being clumsy, straight without being arrogant, bright without being dazzled", meaning square without being stiff without being forced, with edges without scratching people, upright without being impetuous, and bright without being dazzled. In other words, don't do anything when keeping in good health, so that our life won't suffer too much loss.

For more than two thousand years, Laozi's health theory has been inherited and developed by health experts in past dynasties.

For example, Tao Hongjing (AD 456-AD 536), a great health care practitioner in the Southern Dynasties in China, said, "There is great sorrow, and there is great sorrow. This is called neutralization, and people who can neutralize live long. " Dong Zhongshu, a Confucian, also said: "Those who can keep in good health by neutralization will live a long life."

Second, keep quiet for health.

In Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu described the experience and feelings of people when they were "silent". Some people say that Lao Tzu put forward this philosophical point of view, probably because he got the secret in silence. He thinks that the truth of health preservation and the truth of governing the country are interlinked.

Laozi said, "Be empty, be quiet, and at the same time, I will turn back. Everything must be traced back to the source. After all, it is quiet. "

This sentence means: try to keep your mind quiet and keep quiet; Everything grows and develops. I observe their cycles. Although things change in various ways, they all return to the starting point, which is called "quietness". This has become the oldest and most classic trick often quoted by later generations.

It can be seen that Laozi repeatedly emphasized in his works that it is necessary to be quiet to maintain health and longevity. His views have also been inherited by Taoism in China, such as Zhuangzi, Bao Puzi, Sun Simiao, and even great writers such as Su Dongpo, Bai Juyi and Lu You have written records in this respect. Therefore, Laozi is not only a great philosopher and thinker, but also a great health preserving family.

Laozi's cross formula of health preservation

First, the German word formula: Laozi said: "Changde never leaves, and it belongs to the baby." In order to prolong life and rejuvenate, we must leave Changde, put our ancestors before ourselves, be considerate of others, win glory for ourselves and others, and don't insist on my opinion. I was wrong, don't be arrogant, don't try to be brave, be smart, bully others, be arrogant and slander others, and be more self-reliant. Remember to rob money, cheat money and corrupt. If you can come through thick and thin, be kind-hearted, always cultivate your merits, and put one in your heart, you can be honest and upright.

Second, nourishing words: nourishing internal qi with few words, nourishing essence with few colors, nourishing blood with light taste, nourishing dirty qi with pharynx and body fluid, refraining from anger and nourishing liver qi, nourishing stomach qi with diet, nourishing lung qi with fetal interest, nourishing kidney qi with little thought, and nourishing qi with caution.

Third, the word "heart": 10,000 kinds of mind methods, 10,000 kinds of mind methods, the heart is the master of human beings and the master of spirit. To refine the spirit and refine the spirit, we must first start from refining the heart. The heart is quiet, the heart is clear, and people forget me. It's wrong to have no distractions. It's a shortcut if you don't care for the name.

Fourth, good words: cultivate goodness, be kind, do good, be kind to others, and persuade others to be kind. If you are good at home and abroad, you have both ability and political integrity. If everyone can do good deeds, evil will disappear and the country will be safe.

Five, no words: no boundaries, no dust, no thoughts, no heart, no land, no one without me. Taoism is the best kung fu, aiming at refining spirit, emptiness and emptiness. Buddhists demand no self, no self, no sentient beings, no Buddha, no eyes, no ears, no nose, no tongue, no body and mind, no fragrance and no touch. The highest state of Buddhism and Taoism, in the final analysis, is nothing more than that.

Six, less words: essence should be less leaking, God should consume less, gas should be less damaged, music should be less enjoyed, music should be less sought, fame should be less gained, benefits should be less accumulated, and thinking should be more spiritual.

Seven, quiet words: the shape wants to be quiet, the heart wants to be quiet, the gas wants to be quiet, and it is appropriate to practice quietly. Quiet in peacetime, and quiet in the middle of trouble. Quiet can be determined, and it will make you wise.

Eight, few words: silence nourishes qi, ignorance nourishes wisdom, ignorance nourishes nature, ignorance nourishes essence, ignorance nourishes spirit, and it is omnipresent.

Nine, light words: the name should be light, the interest should be light, the color should be light, the love should be light, the resentment should be light, the suspicion should be light, and the victory should be light. There is nothing to be uneasy about.

Ten, forgetting words: forgetting things can nourish the heart, forgetting feelings can nourish the mind, forgetting the scenery can nourish the mind, forgetting the color can nourish the mind, forgetting me can nourish the mind, forgetting everything can nourish everything.
