Xinyu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangxi Province is a third-class hospital with a long history, one of the 100 demonstration hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine in China, and the eighth affiliated hospital of Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is the center of TCM health care and medical education research in this area. At present, there are more than 300 employees and 250 beds are provided. The number of outpatients exceeds 6.5438+0.5 million, and the number of inpatients reaches more than 5,000.

In 2000, the Department of Acupuncture Rehabilitation was rated as the key acupuncture department by the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Jiangxi Provincial Health Department. There are 8 doctors, 4 nurses (including wards), 2 associate senior titles and 2 intermediate titles in this department, and acupuncture beds are set up 15. The department has carried out the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine, acupuncture (new nine needles), small needle knife, collagenase injection inside and outside intervertebral disc, sacral canal injection, acupoint blocking and acupuncture weight loss. In recent years, Chen Rixin, director of acupuncture department of Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been introduced to treat more than 20 diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, myofascitis, facial paralysis, trigeminal neuralgia, herpes zoster, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, gastrointestinal dysfunction and sexual dysfunction, and irregular menstruation.
