Because it is used to cultivate bacteria, it does not need to be replaced frequently. It can breed a large number of beneficial bacteria in a short time and decompose harmful chemicals such as ammonia and nitrous acid. Reduce the production of moss, algae and germs, enhance the immunity of fish and accelerate the ecological balance.
Biochemical ball: generally made of plastic, spherical, square, irregular and black. Suitable for bottom filtration or overflow, it will play the role of heat preservation, noise elimination and oxygen increase.
Activated carbon: The main components of activated carbon are oxygen, hydrogen and other elements, which are porous and have low packing density. It has a strong adsorption function, can adsorb dissolved organic pollutants and toxins in water, and can also remove the color, smell, fishy smell and residual drugs in water. Ensure that the water quality is clear, clean and transparent.
Coral sand: coral or shell fragments, which can release calcium carbonate continuously, with different particles and various specifications. The pH value after filtration is generally 7.0-8.5. There are many gaps, and nitrifying bacteria can be cultured in large quantities, which need to be replaced after 8- 16 months of use.
