Songxi green tea is tender and straight in appearance, green in leaf color, rich and elegant in aroma, light yellow and clear in soup color, and fresh and sweet in taste. Among them, "milk smell" is one of the characteristics of Songxi green tea, that is, tea soup has the smell of milk. Songxi green tea has a long history. As early as the Tang Dynasty, there were records of tea production and drinking. Pu Songling, a writer in Ming Dynasty, wrote in Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio that Songxi green tea is "tender and clear in color, fragrant and mellow, fresh and sweet in taste, beautiful and lively in shape, and famous for thousands of years."
Nowadays, Songxi green tea has become a geographical indication product in Fujian Province, enjoying a high reputation and popularity.
