1 overview
The oil and gas production of CNOOC Bohai Oilfield has jumped from less than 1000× 104t in the early 20th century to 3000× 104t in 20 10, and will reach 3500×/kloc-0 in 20 15 and 2020. With the increasing number of exploration and development of oil and gas fields, there are more than 300,000 geological files in the geological data collection, including 7,289 meters of cores, 598,000 packages of cuttings and 6.2× 104L crude oil samples, which are growing rapidly at the rate of tens of thousands each year. At the same time, with the continuous development of digital oilfield technology, people have higher requirements for fine-grained, structured and service-oriented geological data utilization, which brings unprecedented challenges to oilfield geological data management. For this reason, in the past six years, under the leadership of CNOOC Exploration Department and Information Management Department, and under the guidance of the spirit of Geological Data Management Regulations of the Ministry of Land and Resources, Bohai Oilfield has carried out informatization work at different levels and in various forms, especially through the implementation of several special projects, and the informatization construction of geological data has achieved unprecedented rapid development. It has not only achieved fruitful results in the construction of comprehensive management platform for geological data resources and applications, but also greatly improved the management methods, technical means and system construction of geological data, solidly promoted the clustering industrialization of geological data information services, further exerted the due value of geological data information, and better realized the functions of geological data information services for enterprises and society.
2 Bohai Oilfield geological information construction
2. 1 Overall objective
Based on the principle of "industrialization of information service cluster", the informatization construction of geological data in Bohai Oilfield has comprehensively improved the digitalization of geological data, which not only meets the needs of enterprises and society for centralized catalog retrieval and full-text retrieval of various geological data, but also comprehensively improves the overall level of informatization management of geological files and realizes the promotion of geological data management from traditional entity management to higher-level enterprise data management. 2.2 Information construction
According to the overall goal of information construction of oilfield geological data, the information construction of Bohai Oilfield geological data has mainly completed the construction of data resources, the construction of application system platform and the research of geological data information technology.
2.2. 1 construction of geological data resources

Based on the construction of geological data resources, Bohai Oilfield has developed an application platform for geological data management, involving subsystems such as digital file center, comprehensive geological file management system and oilfield professional database system. Through the construction of geological data management and application platform, not only the standardized management of multi-source geological data standards and formats is realized, but also the multi-level application of geological data and the interconnection and information sharing between systems are realized.
2.2.3 Research and application of geological information technology
In order to better promote the construction of geological data resources and system platform, Bohai Oilfield has also strengthened the research on geological data informatization technology, mainly including the research in three major fields: digitalization of geological files, digitalization of geological samples and management of petroleum geological data. While developing digital and intelligent management of physical archives, it also studies professional data management such as geological data, petroleum data model, database structure, unstructured document classification, storage and metadata management standards. The implementation of the project is centered on the construction of a three-level integrated management system for personal working documents, company electronic documents and archival materials, and the construction of an information platform for the whole process of geological data transfer, receiving, sorting, recording, cataloguing, management, utilization and submission is carried out for various business fields of oilfield exploration, development and production.
2.3.3 the third stage (20 13 ~ 20 14)
In view of the informationization of physical geological data management in Bohai Oilfield, the archives management department of Bohai Oilfield focused on the construction of collection facilities and the trial production of digital special equipment, especially the successful development of high-resolution core cuttings image collection equipment, which effectively promoted the development of high-resolution digital collection of core cuttings images, met the needs of users for remote viewing of samples and remote coring, and further expanded the industrial chain of geological data information service.
3 the results achieved
3. 1 Management and Informatization of Original and Achievements Geological Data
The large-scale resource construction in Bohai Oilfield lasted for more than three years, and a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources were invested. A total of 9.23 million pages of historical data (equivalent to A4 size) were collected, including 6.5438+0.63 million pages of maps and 7.6 million pages of reports, and related data were collected in a structured way. Through years of information construction, geological data file management has a good infrastructure and advanced technical means, and has also trained a professional team with fine business and high quality. At present, the electronic level of the collection materials has reached more than 97%, which can not only meet the fine-grained and structured utilization needs of different levels of data, but also establish technical specifications related to the digitalization of CNOOC geological data during the project implementation. The standard extends to text recognition, data proofreading, results organization and other links, which effectively fills the gaps in the standards of CNOOC-related enterprises, develops an electronic processing management platform for geological data with independent copyright, and fully realizes the process and standardization of geological data processing.
3.2 Physical sample geological data management and informatization
At present, the digitization of samples such as cores and cuttings in Bohai Oilfield has reached 90%. Through geological data management and application platform. It not only realizes the comprehensive management of basic data, image data, professional reports, appraisal data and business processes of geological samples, but also realizes the dynamic tracking of the whole life cycle of geological samples, leading to the compilation of technical specifications for image acquisition of core wall cuttings of China Offshore Oil Corporation.
3.3 Development of digital equipment for physical files
Focusing on the implementation of the Work Plan of Promoting the Clustering Industrialization of Geological Information Service (Guo Tu Zi Fa [2010]13) of the Ministry of Land and Resources, and innovating the new mode of geological information service, Bohai Oilfield has developed a set of high-resolution scanning and microscopic scanning of cores, cuttings, borehole cores and other samples. The whole process of automatic acquisition, such as equipment system self-inspection, automatic laser ranging, automatic acquisition control, automatic geometric correction, automatic image stitching, automatic cutting, automatic naming and automatic warehousing, has been well realized. In particular, its unique fixed-point high-resolution real-time imaging technology provides professional technicians with a brand-new information service model for remote core cuttings observation and related technical research, and improves the informationization level and file service ability of physical files in Bohai Oilfield as a whole. This technology research has obtained 2 utility model patents and 3 software copyrights.
3.4 Comprehensive application of geological data
Bohai Oilfield has formed a systematic and multi-level geological data management and application through digital document center, comprehensive geological archives management system and oilfield professional database system, which not only broadens the depth and breadth of geological data utilization, but also effectively connects with the entrusted management system of oil and gas geological data, the national geological data exchange supervision platform and the oil and gas drilling database of the Ministry of Land and Resources through the Bohai Oilfield geological data management application platform.
4 summary and thinking
4. 1 Problems in Geological Information Construction of Bohai Oilfield
1) Due to historical reasons, technical capacity constraints, system changes and many other factors, the information and data held by the oil and gas geological data storage department of Bohai Oilfield have not reached the ideal completeness and accuracy, especially the producers, managers, custodians, users and supervisors of oilfield geological data belong to different management systems, which brings great challenges to the management and coordination of geological data.
2) The construction of professional team and informatization standard of oil and gas geological data in Bohai Oilfield needs to be further strengthened and improved to keep consistent with the rapid development of Bohai Oilfield and provide quality services for oilfield exploration and development.
3) At present, the distributed storage of geological data resources, multi-system, multi-platform and multi-head management departments have brought great challenges to the unified and standardized management of geological data. More importantly, Bohai Oilfield still lacks a long-term working mechanism to ensure that geological data can be comprehensively, reliably and effectively controlled in the long process of cross-discipline, cross-department and cross-system from generation to final filing.
4.2 Thoughts on Informatization Construction of Geological Data in Bohai Oilfield
1) Through the practice of informatization construction of geological data in Bohai Oilfield, it is deeply realized that the informatization of oilfield geological data must strengthen the management of data sources, establish and improve the filing system and standardized process system of data generation department, business management department and file management department, link the collection of on-site geological data with the post assessment of on-site geological supervision, and implement the responsibility to people to ensure the integrity and accuracy of geological data collection. At the same time, it is necessary to use the platform of oilfield digital document center system to conduct professional data collection and archiving training for the department personnel involved in the process of oil and gas geological data circulation, so as to make them clear about the data collection scope, archiving time and archiving standards, and relate them to the annual assessment indicators, thus promoting the integrated management of oil and gas geological data and documents.
2) With the rapid development of Bohai Oilfield, it is necessary to further strengthen the technical research work of geological data management and enhance the soft power. During the construction of thematic platform, we deeply realized the multi-level utilization demand of geological data. The standard petroleum data models, such as POSC (Open Standards Alliance for Petroleum Technology), PPDM (Public Petroleum Data Model Association), ISO OAIS (Open Archives Information System) reference model and comprehensive computing platform for oil and gas exploration and development, are deeply studied, which lays the foundation for the deep application of geological data and comprehensive information service in the future.
3) Re-understanding of the management and utilization of geological data samples. Physical geological data is a valuable wealth obtained by CNOOC enterprises with huge investment. These samples are original, unique, non-renewable, perishable and reusable, and contain rich geological information. Therefore, it is of great significance to establish an electronic copy for it and use digital technology to process, preserve, protect, analyze and utilize related samples. Through the previous scientific research work, we have mastered the high-resolution and high-definition image acquisition technology of core cuttings, and realized the integration and correlation of physical samples, related achievement data and original data, which provided convenient and fast data usage for enterprises and social researchers, and also laid a solid foundation for further application and integration services such as fluorescence area statistics, oil-bearing occurrence identification, quantitative statistics of pores and fractures and particle size analysis by using image pattern recognition technology in the future.
5 Work development and prospect
5. 1 Work development
In order to improve the source data management level of geological data in various business systems such as exploration, development, experiment and comprehensive research, it is necessary to establish a set of norms and guarantee mechanisms suitable for the development mode of enterprises around the geological information business of Bohai Oilfield, so as to ensure that the document data formed in all future geological work can be captured by geological data managers in a timely and effective manner according to the corresponding business processes and operating norms. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the research on data collection and automatic push from various business systems to oilfield electronic file system, strengthen the role of electronic file system as the main channel of geological data collection business, realize the integrated management of documents from electronic file system to geological file system, and finally realize the complete and timely management of geological data in the whole oilfield.

The management of geological data in Bohai Oilfield will continue to focus on digital file management, take information technology as the foundation, take the Work Plan of Promoting the Clustering of Geological Data Information Services (Guo Tu Zi Fa [2065 438+00] 165 438+03) as the guidance, adhere to the principle of unified deployment and step-by-step implementation, and finally build the business system, electronic file system and geological file system.
