Raspberry is a raspberry belonging to Rubus genus, also known as raspberry, mountain throwing, milk bubble, seedling bubble, March bubble, April bubble, dragon boat bubble, barley bubble, prickly thorn, thorn gourd, steamed bread pineapple, tall foot wave, mountain bubble and erect shrub; Branches spiny and pilose when young. Simple leaves, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, are common in sunny hillsides, valleys, wasteland, streams and wet places in dense shrubs, and have not been artificially introduced and cultivated. The flowering period is February-March and the fruiting period is April-June. China is distributed all over the country except Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet. North Korea, Japan, Myanmar and Vietnam also have it.

Rubus 1~2 meters high, brown or reddish brown branches, short tapering top, round base and 3~6 cm long petiole. Peanuts are axillary in short racemes or at the top of side branches with few flowers. Petals are spoon-shaped, white and filaments are wide and flat. The fruit is nearly spherical, with a flowering period of May-June and a fruiting period of August-September.
