99% of PPT volume problems are caused by a large number of pictures and high resolution. So all we need to do is compress PPT pictures. How to compress PPT pictures? There are two ways:

Method 1

1. Open PPT, select a picture, click the Format tab, and click the Compress Picture button.

2. This interface will appear after clicking. If you want to compress all the pictures in PPT, just uncheck "Only applicable to this picture", and then you can choose the following resolutions according to your own needs, generally choose 150ppi.

3. Finally, click OK, press Ctrl+S or click File-Save to save PPT.

Method 2

1. Press "F 12" to open the Save As window.

2. Click "Tools"-"Compress Pictures".

3. Just select the compression resolution. Note that all the pictures in PPT are compressed in this way by default.

Second, compress PPT video.

If you insert too many videos into your PPT, it will inevitably lead to a larger PPT, so we should also reduce the size of PPT by compressing videos.

1. Click the file tab.

2. Click "Compress Media" and select the compression quality as required. The general compression quality is 720P Internet quality.

Third, delete the redundant layout.

The size of PPT file is mainly determined by the material content of slides and the master, but the slide format in many masters is not used. Deleting these redundant formats can reduce the file size.

1. Click the View tab and select the slide master.

2. Press the "Delete" key to delete the redundant layout.

Fourth, the use of compression software.

Although the above method looks simple, it is still cumbersome to operate, especially when you have dozens of PPT files to compress, the operation should not be very annoying. So in order to improve efficiency, we can also choose to use some compression software, such as "fast compression software", which has a very good compression effect and supports multiple PPT files to be compressed at the same time without distortion.

1. Open the Swift compression software and click "PPT compression". As you can see from the main interface, it also supports the compression of files such as pictures, videos, PDF and Word.

2. Click Add File. If there are multiple PPT files to be compressed, they can be placed in the same folder. Click Add Folder.

3. After adding files, you can set the compression form below. There are three options: restore first, normal compression and clear first.

4. After setting, select the output directory and click the "Start Compression" button, and the PPT file will be compressed. Wait until the compression is complete.
