In order to ensure that the computer can start automatically at regular intervals, the user should first check whether the system time in the motherboard BIOS is the same as the real time. 4. The last step, remember to save the result of setting modification in the BIOS of the motherboard, so that it can be turned on at the preset time. Some motherboards can also be set to automatically boot from BIOS at the same time every day by changing the "RTC alarm date" item to "every day". Method 2: Boot with keyboard/mouse If the computer case is out of reach, it is a good scheme to boot with keyboard/mouse. However, it should be noted that this function only supports keyboards and mice connected with PS/2 interface, and cannot be connected with USB interface. By enabling the "Boot via PS/2 keyboard" option in the BIOS of the motherboard, you can choose different startup hotkeys, such as Ctrl+E, which is the most common startup hotkey. Or after selecting "power key", you can use the power key designed separately on the keyboard, but only some keyboards that meet the technical specifications of Keyboard 98 can support this function. Of course, the power button on the chassis can still be used. As for using the mouse to guide, it is also very simple. The setting options in BIOS are similar to those in keyboard boot settings, and then you can start the computer by clicking the mouse button. Method 3: Wake On LAN (WOL) network wake-up function needs to be turned on, which requires the support of network card. The network card with WOL function has a special signal line connected to the WOL interface on the motherboard, which is responsible for transmitting the boot signal to the motherboard. However, at present, there are not many motherboards with WOL interface, but manufacturers provide WOL function on the network chip built in the motherboard. The principle of WOL is that when the computer is turned on or in S5 sleep mode, the network card still runs at a very low voltage, and then other computers on the network can send a magic package called "magic package" to the awakened computer through software. After receiving the signal, the network card will send a power-on signal to the motherboard to start it. Because the computer is still on before waking up, we need to know the MAC address of the network card (each network card has its own unique MAC address, which the software uses to identify it). The specific usage of the network wake-up function is as follows: First, turn on the WOL option in the motherboard BIOS. Note that some motherboards only support Wake On LAN of S5. Secondly, download WOL software from the Internet: /wake-on-lan/. This network wake-up software called "Magic Pack" is simple to set up and use. After running, its operation interface has only five options. Among them, the "(MAC address)" column of the network card can be obtained by the user entering the "ipconfig/all" command in the command line mode of the Windows operating system. In addition, the column "Internet Address" is the column to be broadcast. Enter "255, 255, 255, 255" and "subnet mask" in this column to broadcast locally. The fourth column is "Sending Options", and "Local Subnet" should be selected. Enter the "Remote Port Number" in the fifth column at will. Please note that the above settings only apply to the local LAN. If you want to wake up through the network, there are many problems involved, so I won't discuss them here. Method 4: Booting with TV cards At present, a large number of TV cards with automatic boot function have been listed on the market. After the connection, you can use the software provided by the TV card to set the boot time. The automatic boot mode of TV card can be roughly divided into three ways: the first is the product with automatic boot function, which needs to connect the power cord of the chassis with the TV card before turning it out; The other is a TV card that starts in sleep mode. Among them, not all users are willing to adopt the second method, because the computer is not really turned off, that is, it is still consuming electricity. The following mainly introduces the specific operation of the first automatic boot mode. 1. First of all, when installing, users should connect the lead pin of the computer switch button on the chassis with the "power switch" pin of the TV card (the author takes Kangbo X800 TV card as an example). 2. Then connect another set of "power switch" pins of the TV card with the power pins on the motherboard, and finally put the TV card into the PCI expansion slot of the motherboard, thus completing the internal connection. 3. After the hardware installation is completed, you need to set the supporting software of the TV card (such as Kangbo PVR2). Mainly in the "pre-recorded settings" function, the user should check "Enable automatic boot function". 4. If the Windows operating system in your computer is used by multiple users, you should also set it to "enable automatic login" mode, and enter the user name and password to complete the whole setup step.
