The natural reproductive ability of orchids is extremely low. In order to prevent wild orchids from being picked at will, a kind of wild orchid cultivation is needed to protect wild orchids.
One. ? Whether it's wild orchids collected on the mountain or old plants bought by yourself, we should plant them in time. If it is too late to plant, you can choose a cool, ventilated, humid, sun-proof and well-drained place, arrange the orchid branches neatly, bury the roots with wet sand, wet soil and wet sawdust, and follow them in temporarily. New wild orchids, such as Cymbidium hybridum, Cymbidium hybridum, etc., should be stored in order to bloom well and survive easily. After grass storage or temporary planting in the heel, potted plants and mountain planting are generally adopted.
2. Potting wild orchids is much more complicated than ground planting. Usually cut off the dead roots and leaves first.
Then clean with clear water and disinfect the seedlings. At present, carbendazim thiophanate methyl is widely used in China. Before the disinfectant is put into the basin, use some Zafagenwodo to promote rooting and germination, and soak the root for 15 minutes, which can better promote the rooting and germination of the root and shorten the domestication time. After that, put it flat and dry it loosely for a day and night and put it into the pot. It is ideal to put wild orchids in a courtyard or patio surrounded by high walls, but they need to face southeast, so that they can get the early morning sunshine as soon as possible. At noon, when the sun is at the top, use reed curtain to shade it properly. Potted wild orchids should not be placed directly on the ground, especially in summer when the sun is hot, the ground temperature rises or thunderstorm weather, and the temperature rises even more in the rainy season, which is easy to steam the roots of orchids.
3. No fertilizer. Wild orchids can't be fertilized in the first year of cultivation, because the root absorption function or damage has not completely returned to normal, and humus mud, stream sand and charcoal powder in the cultivated soil are still full of various nutrients, that is, granular soil or inorganic plant materials are used for cultivation. These matrix trees also contain many nutrients and various elements. In the second and third years, we only need to apply thin fertilizer as appropriate, and use potassium dihydrogen phosphate to stimulate the growth of plant cells every month.
4. Shading: Plant the plants in the shade for 7- 15 days, and then place them in the place where orchids are cultivated, so that they can grow under suitable lighting conditions, and the shading degree should be controlled above 80%. At the same time, potted wild orchids should pay more attention to shading in the early stage of planting. For example, planting orchids on the roof or balcony, in addition to shading the ground, but also hanging curtains in the northwest, just in case.
