Fans of Palmeiras Football Club
Palmeiras Football Club has the largest number of supporters in Brazil, with fans all over the country. Pamela's official mascot is a parrot, but since the 1980s, fans have started to use pigs as mascots. This is because the Corinti football team called Palpa fans pigs, and the fans responded to them. The relegation in 2003 was the darkest moment for the team, but their fans still enthusiastically supported Pamela in every home game. Traditionally, Pamela's supporters are mostly Italian immigrants, but because of her brilliant record, all ethnic groups have Pamela's supporters.
