What is yoga meditation?
Yoga meditation is the most precious technique in yoga, and it is also the way to achieve meditation. The ultimate goal of all true yoga meditation is to lead people to the realm of liberation.

First, the origin of meditation

The origin of yoga meditation can be traced back to ancient India. As early as more than 7000 years ago, people in Himalayan region began to practice yoga. Through yoga meditation to subdue the mind, and transcend material desires, feel the direct communication with the cause (the source of the cause). The real meaning of yoga meditation is to completely concentrate on mind, mind and spirit at the beginning of primitive life.

First, the three stages of meditation

1, concentration

This is the first stage of yoga meditation, also known as "concentration" or "pointing". At this stage, practitioners need to focus on a specific object or concept to exclude other interferences and external interferences.

Concentrated practice can help people gradually control and stabilize their thoughts, making their minds more focused and alert. At this stage, we usually choose a specific object or inner image as the focus of attention, such as our own breathing, a sacred image or a sacred voice.

Step 2 focus

Meditation is the second stage of yoga meditation, also known as "meditation" or "meditation". At this stage, the yogi's mind has gradually stabilized, and he has begun to think deeply and experience the object of concentration.

The state of meditation is inner peace and concentration. At this time, the yogi's thoughts are no longer floating, but go deep into the essence of the observed object. This stage requires practitioners to constantly observe and think about the object of concentration until they reach a profound understanding and comprehension.

3. Samadhi

Samadhi is the highest stage of yoga meditation, which is also called "waiting" or "not thinking". At this stage, the mind of the yogi has completely surpassed the individual's subjective perception and consciousness, and integrated with the object of concentration.

Samadhi is a realm beyond time and space. At this time, the yogi has completely forgotten the boundary between himself and the outside world and reached an inseparable state with the universe. At this stage, practitioners need to gradually remove the shackles of self-awareness through long-term meditation and practice, so that their hearts are inseparable from the universe.

Matters needing attention in meditation

4. Focus on breathing: When meditating, try to focus on breathing and feel the feeling of breath flowing in the nasal cavity. Don't deliberately control your breathing, just observe and feel the natural breathing rhythm.

5. Avoid distractions: During meditation, you may find that your thoughts often drift away, which is normal. When you realize that you are distracted, don't blame yourself too much, just release it gently and focus on breathing again.
