What do you think is the most torturous pregnancy test?
During pregnancy, you will feel very happy after passing the first level, but the second level will come soon, so you will continue to break through. During the whole pregnancy, there are many pregnancy tests, such as NT, Down's screening, diabetes screening and four-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound. There are indeed many projects, but pregnant mothers still have to break through one level after another, no matter which one.

1. Internal inspection. Internal examination is the examination that most natural mothers are afraid of. After having the symptoms before delivery, the doctor will know something about the pregnant mother through internal examination, such as the position of fetal head, the situation of soft birth canal and the degree of uterine expansion, because the internal examination requires the pregnant mother to be half naked in front of the doctor, and then the doctor will put his index finger and middle finger into the pregnant mother's private parts to understand what the doctor wants to know. Because the pregnant mother is extremely nervous and embarrassed and her muscles are tight, there will be some pain during the examination. In addition, the number of internal exams is uncertain. In any case, we must wait until the cervix is completely open. The most terrible thing is that there may be a male doctor during the internal inspection, which is really embarrassing.

It is suggested that pregnant mothers try to relax and distract themselves when doing internal examination, so that they will not feel so painful after their attention is distracted elsewhere. Even male doctors have to overcome this embarrassing feeling, knowing that in the eyes of doctors, you are no different from other women.

2. Four-dimensional color ultrasound. Four-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound at 22-26 weeks is also very torturous. Through this color Doppler ultrasound, we can find the abnormalities of fetal body surface and some internal organs, including some abnormalities of nervous system, which is of great significance. It is precisely because of this great significance that we need to be very careful when doing this inspection. It takes a long time to see the hands, feet, head, front, back, left and right of the fetus clearly. If the fetus is more cooperative, it may only take 30-40 minutes. If the fetus does not cooperate, it will take a lot of time. Because pregnant mothers need rest, or need to go out for a walk, eat something, etc. It can be done in half an hour. If she comes back in half an hour, the position of the fetus may not change, so it will have to wait until the next time, either in the afternoon or tomorrow.

It takes lazy mother about two or three hours to do stereo. Because the fetus didn't turn over, the lazy mother wandered outside for half an hour before returning to the B-ultrasound room for further examination. She strolled twice, and the doctor said it was faster. Another pregnant mother has been to the hospital for the fourth time (the first morning and afternoon, the second morning and afternoon), because the fetus has not turned to the angle that the doctor wants to see, and she feels tired when she thinks about it.

3. Diabetes screening. Diabetes screening is also a very torturous examination. When doing this test, you need an empty stomach 12 hours, then dilute 50 grams of glucose powder with 200ml of water and drink it in 5 minutes. From the first sip of water to 1 hour, draw blood to check blood sugar. If the blood sugar level is abnormal, further glucose tolerance test (OGTT) should be done, that is, blood should be drawn on an empty stomach 12 hours first. Then 75g of glucose powder was diluted with 300ml of water, and it was finished in 5 minutes. From the first sip of sugar water, after 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours, blood was drawn to check blood sugar. When doing this test, you need an empty stomach, so pregnant mothers will be hungry, tired and tortured. Some hospitals will skip the sugar sieve and do glucose tolerance directly, which is still very torturous.

4. Down's screening. Down's screening is mainly for Down's syndrome. When doing this test, the psychological pressure is particularly great, and many pregnant mothers will be particularly worried about the result when doing this test. However, the accuracy of this test is not particularly high, which will increase the risk with the growth of pregnant mothers' age, but even if the accuracy is not high, it can scare pregnant mothers. If the test result is low risk, but if high-risk pregnant mothers are detected, don't worry too much. Further tests can be done, including non-invasive DNA or amniocentesis.

In fact, every check-up during pregnancy is a torment for pregnant mothers. After every physical examination, they will worry about the abnormal results. Even if simple fetal heart monitoring fails, pregnant mothers will feel nervous if they need oxygen. It's better to unload the goods quickly, so don't worry about it any more.
