Similarities and differences between Taoism and yoga
Yoga is well known to the public and widely practiced. So what is the essence of traditional sports in China, how to practice it, the matters needing attention in practice, and what is suitable for the people who practice it? These people may not be familiar with it. Yesterday, I had the honor to invite Mr. Ye Lianzi, vice chairman of the National Yoga Expert Committee and lecturer of neijiang normal University, to popularize the similarities and differences between yoga and guidance, and let everyone know more about guidance.

Teacher Ye has taught yoga for more than ten years and practiced rhythmic gymnastics since childhood. National first-class athletes and referees. I have an in-depth understanding of imported yoga, and I am very familiar with the traditional health-keeping exercises in China. I am writing books on traditional health-keeping exercises. Her sharing contrast is systematic, objective, clear and accurate. Teacher Ye compared yoga and guidance from five aspects: concept, origin, theoretical basis, main contents and practice methods.

Yoga originated in India and is a physical and mental practice method. As far as practice is concerned, yoga is different from fitness. Fitness exercise is more about skeletal muscle, while yoga pays more attention to the inside. To quote Premier Wen Jiabao, "Yoga is a combination of body and mind".

Daoism comes from China's traditional working life and is based on China's traditional theories of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Yin and Yang, Zang-fu organs, meridians and five elements. It is a treasure of China traditional culture. 1974 The silk painting "Guide Map" unearthed at Mawangdui No.3, Changsha, Hunan Province contains 44 characters, each of which is an independent guide, fully reflecting the diversity of the guides at that time. ?

? Yoga has been passed down by various schools, and guidance is also one of the traditional fitness methods. China traditional Qigong is a kind of self-exercise to optimize body and mind through the use of consciousness. There are many ways to practice, such as Yijinjing, Wuqinxi, six-character tactics, Baduanjin, Taiji health stick and Mawangdui guidance. There are more than 30 ancient names of Qigong, such as "keeping in good health", "guiding", "breathing" and "keeping in good health". Although Qigong seems to be more popular than "guiding" and "breathing", it is also more likely to cause some misunderstandings. Therefore, it is more in line with the needs of the times for the country to vigorously promote "fitness Qigong" and "guiding health preservation". ?

Guiding means "guiding qi to make peace, pulling the body to make softness" Guidance is an organic combination of physical exercise, breathing exercise and mental exercise to exercise human functions, which is similar to yoga's body-regulating, qi-regulating and heart-regulating. Yoga and induction are both modern health preserving methods, which are suitable for the public. Practitioners can choose freely according to their age, experience and hobbies. Any kind of exercise is to make us healthier, have a high-quality life and make the process of life more colorful.
