The geographical location of Niangniang Temple is very mysterious. It sits facing south, surrounded by lush forests on three sides and water from Tianchi on one side. It is located halfway up the mountain, occupying almost all the aura-rich places in Tianshan Tianchi, and absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon day and night.

On the left side of Xiwangmu Temple is Bogda Peak, a Taoist holy mountain with snow all year round, known as Zuo Qinglong. On the right is the small Tianchi Lake called Right White Tiger, and below is the mysterious Tianshan Yaochi Lake. It has formed a comprehensive Taoist geomantic worship, which is a natural place to hide wind and gather gas, and a rare geomantic treasure.

Perhaps it was the treasure specially reserved by God for the Queen Mother of the West that made the founders find such a natural and quiet place to build a temple in Qianshan, winning the right time, place and people.
