Rainy days are the least favorite weather for photographers. Whether it is heavy rain or light rain, few people take a camera to take pictures of the scenery outside, and some even think that it is impossible to take pictures of the scenery on rainy days.
When shooting a rain scene, in order to show the rain stripes in the rain scene in the photo, in addition to choosing heavy rain, it is necessary to have a dark background as a foil. If the background of the rainy scene is the sky, then the rainy sky must be white and dense clouds. Even if it rains heavily, it can't appear because the background and rain bars are white. The closer the background is, the more prone it is to rain bars. The farther the background, the bigger the scene, and the rain bars are not easy to appear clearly. Therefore, the shooting range of the rain scene should not be too large, and it is more important to avoid the white sky occupying most of the picture and affecting the performance of rain bars in the scene.
When it rains, the brightness of the scenery is generally weak. Therefore, when shooting a rain scene, it is generally necessary to use a larger aperture and a slower shutter speed, so that the rain scene has sufficient sensitivity. In order to show the rain bars that have not yet landed in the scene space and master the dynamics in the rain, we should shoot at a higher position. Generally, when shooting a rain scene with the shutter speed of 1/60s, you can show the rainbands that have not landed in the space. If the rain stripes in the rain scene space are short when shooting with shutter speed, a longer rain scene can be obtained with a slower shutter speed, and the dynamics in the scene may not be clear enough.
