The method is very simple: put the milk (packed by Bailey, packed by Tetra Pak Pillow carton, bagged as long as it is pure milk, and don't add sugar) in a pot, heat it (microwave oven is also possible) to 30 degrees Celsius (just try it by hand and it doesn't feel hot), turn off the fire, slowly pour the yogurt (preferably sugar-free) bought in the supermarket into the milk pot (while stirring), and then put it into a covered box or basin.
If you really feel sour, you can put some sugar (better not, you will get used to it). It doesn't matter if you can't drink it. Cover it and put it in the refrigerator.
When I made it, the ratio was two kilograms of milk (1000ml) and a small box of yogurt (I used Mengniu tetra pak pillow+Mengniu sugar-free yogurt). Be careful that there must be no oil or water in the pot where milk is boiled. The yogurt will be thick after 8-9 hours. That's great.
I personally recommend Mengniu or Yili drip for milk (tetra pak pillow or Bai Le bag (i.e. 1 liter drip, 1 liter = 1000ML).
Yogurt seeds are more important. I have used a lot, and it is best to drop two kinds, one is Mengniu sugar-free yogurt, and the other is Shanghai Danone extra-strong yogurt. The effect is very good.
The yogurt made is very thick and has a strong milk fragrance.
