Nanhai National Defense Education and Training Base is located in the official kiln office of Shishan Town, with Feishui Heshun Office in Nanhai District in the east, leping town in Sanshui District in the west and tanbu town in Huadu District in the north. It is more than 30 kilometers away from Guicheng Street in Nanhai District and covers an area of 100 mu. It was completed and put into use in June 2006, and can accommodate 1 120 people for national defense education and training at one time. A modern, multifunctional and comprehensive national defense education and training base integrating national defense education, militia training, students' military training, light weapons live-fire shooting, militia weapons and equipment management and "food, shelter, training and security" has been built.
