The reason why this incident has attracted people's attention for many years is that people have been arguing about the cause of this incident, and experts from all sides have failed to find a satisfactory answer to explain it, so there is a saying that the "strange car in the air" incident was caused by UFOs and aliens had visited Xi Du Forest Farm. This incident has also become one of the mysterious "UFO events" in China. In September, 2004, this newspaper published the article "Strange cars in the air raided the northern suburbs of Guiyang", which restored the scene of the incident.

Most of these broken trees are 20 cm to 30 cm in diameter and about 20 meters high. The Dulaying Vehicle Factory of Guizhou Ministry of Railways, 5 kilometers away from Xi Du Forest Farm, was also seriously damaged. The glass fiber reinforced plastic tile on the roof of the vehicle factory was sucked away, the brick wall of the factory building was pushed down, and the steel pipe column of the weighbridge house was cut off or bent. The 50-ton train car has been displaced more than 20 meters away, and its terrain is not downhill, but slightly uphill. There were no casualties, and the high-voltage transmission lines, telephones and cables were all intact, except for the factory police who performed night patrol in the vehicle factory, who were rolled up by the strong wind for several meters and moved more than 20 meters in the air without any damage.
Experts and scholars from all over the world have come to Xi Du Forest Farm to investigate and study, and determined the specific damage location and area by using modern advanced instruments such as satellite locator. Time-frequency, weak thorn and γ -ray detection were carried out on the damaged key sites and targets in Guizhou Vehicle Factory, and field monitoring and analysis were carried out in Xi Du Forest Farm.
Ouyang Ziyuan told reporters that the cause of this incident is nothing more than natural phenomena such as "downburst" or "tornado".
Ouyang Ziyuan's view on "downburst" is consistent with the investigation results of Guizhou Meteorological Society at that time. The phenomenon of "downburst" is a strong sinking movement caused by thunderstorms. This sinking movement can form a very large horizontal wind spreading outward near the ground. Thunderstorm and hail are the reasons for the phenomenon of "downburst", which is the conclusion drawn by meteorologists at that time and also conforms to the meteorological conditions in Guizhou at that time.
However, according to a surveyor at the scene, there is no sign that the deciduous layer has been blown away. However, the radiation wind generated by the "downburst" blows to the ground, and the shape of the fallen trees should radiate around, which is different from the scene.
Ouyang Ziyuan felt that the signs at that time were very similar to those of Liu Longjuan. According to the on-site inspection, trees, vehicle factory ceilings and even trains have been damaged and displaced to varying degrees. Professor Gao, a researcher in lasg and chairman of the China Association for Scientific Exploration, also believes that Lu Longjuan was responsible for the "strange car in the air" incident.
Tornado is a kind of tornado, which is a whirlwind with strong wind and small scope of action. Meteorology generally divides tornadoes into tornadoes and waterspouts according to their formation environment. Professor Gao said: "But no matter what kind of tornado it is, it is funnel-shaped, with large size and small size, which is particularly attractive. When Lulong rolls around, it is possible to suck off trees, lift off roofs and even suck people off the ground. Its huge rotating force may also push the train. Judging from the broken trees in the forest farm, there are indeed some trees on the scene that are distorted by the same rotating force as twists, which is also in line with the characteristics of tornadoes. "
For this view, Wang, the current president of the UFO Research Association, put forward different views. He believes that according to the situation at that time, it is unlikely to be caused by tornadoes, nor can it be explained by land tornadoes. Wang said: "The damage track caused by the tornado should be a rotating belt, and according to the damage traces left on the ground we saw at the scene, many of them jumped."
According to the data of meteorological bureau of guizhou province at that time, there was no record of tornado observed in Xi Du Forest Farm at that time, and there was no tornado phenomenon in Guizhou history. Because Guizhou is located in the plateau, tornadoes generally do not appear in this area, but usually should appear in relatively low places near the sea or land.
Regarding Wang's question, Gao explained: "The moving direction of tornadoes is changing, and the terrain in Guizhou mountainous areas is undulating, so tornadoes will also fluctuate, leaving traces of different shades and uncertain directions on the ground. At present, the research on tornadoes in China is almost blank, and the phenomenon of tornadoes in mountainous areas is rarely observed. This kind of thing is more common in developed countries such as the United States. Because we know very little, this phenomenon will be very novel. "
Although there are still many unexplained doubts in the end, the academic circles all say that this incident was not done by aliens. Wang said: "Most experts in our UFO research society regard this incident as a mystery that science can't explain at present, and we need to study it further, but we can't simply explain it with UFOs and aliens." Experts said that from the on-site observation and on-site instrument testing, the cause of this incident is related to airflow. Because the trees were broken at that time, even the train displacement obviously showed the characteristics caused by airflow. Gao said: "Tornadoes will carry lightning, and it is also possible that lightning will induce spherical lightning. If this kind of lightning strikes the ground, it is what we call' rolling thunder', and the ground will be burned by lightning, and various traces will appear. As for traces like African claws, that's just our subjective imagination. This kind of lightning is very common in hilly areas, especially in humid environment. Although there are still many focuses worth studying and arguing about the' strange car in the air' incident, I think this is a natural phenomenon. "
