Cultivation method of soft-shelled turtle

I. Water temperature control

The water temperature of 20℃ ~ 30℃ is the best temperature range for turtle growth. When the water temperature is higher than 20℃, the turtle begins to eat, and the food intake increases with the increase of water temperature. When the water temperature is lower than the optimum temperature, the feed conversion rate will decrease; When the water temperature is higher than the optimum temperature, the feed conversion rate will also decrease due to the increase of activity, so the water temperature should be kept within the optimum temperature range, and too high or too low will cause feed waste.

Second, feed feeding

1. Feeding mode. Feeding underwater is suitable for the feeding habits of soft-shelled turtles and can speed up the feeding speed of soft-shelled turtles. Feeding with soft pellet feed saves more feed than feeding with block feed.

2. Feeding quantity control. The feeding of soft-shelled turtle is greatly influenced by the change of environmental factors. When the temperature and water temperature change, the influence on soft-shelled turtle should be considered and the feeding amount should be adjusted. Generally, underwater feeding should be controlled within 30 minutes.

The turtle eats too much and grows too fast, which will easily lead to the increase or overload of the turtle's physiological load, damage the turtle's internal organs and induce visceral diseases.

3. Feed selection. The feed cost accounts for about 40% of the breeding cost, and the feeding method and the quality of the selected feed determine the success or failure of breeding cost control. Through the final benefit analysis, comparing the prices of high-quality feed and inferior feed with the comprehensive breeding cost, we can get out of the misunderstanding of choosing feed only by looking at the price.

Third, water quality control.

Turtle is naturally clean and afraid of dirt. Good water environment is an important condition for the stable growth of soft-shelled turtle. The quality control of water quality determines the success or failure of aquaculture.

1. oxygenation. The main purpose of water oxygenation is to reduce the content of harmful gases and harmful organic substances in water and ensure the smooth flow of oxygenation facilities. However, it is necessary to choose to aerate the soft-shelled turtle in a fixed period of time, so that the soft-shelled turtle can form a habit and reduce the interference of oxygenation on the soft-shelled turtle.

2. Rational use of microbial agents. Rational use of microbial agents can greatly save investment in water quality control.

3. Sewage discharge and water exchange. Regular sewage discharge is an effective means to control water quality, and changing water is the most direct method to adjust water quality. When changing water, the amount of water should be determined according to the water quality.

Fourth, disease control.

Disinfect the larvae before entering the pool, and soak them in 2‰ salt solution for 30 minutes before entering the pool. Before the turtle weighs 50 grams, it is necessary to prevent the occurrence of mold disease. At this stage, it is necessary to strengthen the physique of young turtles and avoid mechanical damage, which is the focus of preventive work. When the turtle weighs 50 ~150g, beware of the occurrence of white spot disease, and the daily disinfection is mainly bromine chloride preparation; A nail weighs 50 grams, so beware of furuncle.

Reference answer: The temporary feed for soft-shelled turtle is mainly animal feed. Now introduce a good way to raise snails with green feed for raising turtles.

Pomacea canaliculata can be cultivated in turtle pond. The specific method is: put snail 100 ~ 200 kg per mu into the pond, and put an appropriate amount of green feed such as vegetable leaves and grass into the pond every day to promote the reproduction of snail. Generally, per 100 kg of Ampullaria canaliculata can breed 300 kg of Ampullaria canaliculata. When snails grow to a certain stage and return to the bottom, it becomes a good meal for turtles. In the early stage of snail release, turtle feed should be fed for 20 days. After that, snails will continue to breed snails, and turtle feed will be satisfied. In this way, using green feed such as vegetable leaves and grass to breed snails as feed for turtles can greatly reduce the feeding cost. But always sprinkle BB powder on the nail pond and change the water frequently.
