Sakyamuni Buddha is our teacher; The so-called teacher is the fundamental teacher. He was born in the kingdom of Kapilao, his father was King Sudoku and his mother was Queen Maya. According to the Buddhist scriptures, the Buddha became a six-toothed white elephant with Bai Lianhua in his mouth and was pregnant in October. According to the custom at that time, Lady Mo Ye went back to her mother's house to give birth, passed through Lumbini Garden and gave birth to Prince Siddhartha under a carefree tree. According to records, the prince was born from Mrs. Mo Ye's right rib and left after giving birth. Then, pointing to the sky and the ground, he said, "I am the only one in the world." At this time, two dragons hovered in the sky, one with Twain's water and the other with cold water, giving him a bath.
Mrs Moyev died seven days after the prince was born, so Gautama Siddharta was brought up by his aunt, Mrs Mahabharata. The prince was gifted and intelligent, and he studied the Five Wishes and Four Vedas (the traditional thought of ancient India) since childhood. /kloc-When he was 0/7 years old, he married his cousin yaodharā and gave birth to his son Lolo. Although the prince's aristocratic life was rich and comfortable, he observed the disparity between the rich and the poor, the inequality of four surnames, and the law of the jungle. Especially because of the persecution of birth, illness and death and the impermanence of life, he became willing, sad and became a monk and sought relief. Finally, at the age of 19, on the eighth day of February, I left the palace gate at night and became a monk.
After becoming a monk, the prince first went to the forest of immortals and ascetics in Baga, and then went to Wang Shecheng, the capital of Mojeto, where the king met him. Later, I visited the number theory believers who lived in the mountainous area near King Snake City and practiced meditation. However, they are not really free. So, he went to the ascetic forest in Gaojiashan, sat quietly by the Nile River and practiced asceticism. Six years later, he is thin and still helpless.
Later, I realized that the real practice is to leave the middle way of bitterness and happiness, so I gave up unnecessary asceticism, crossed the Nellian Zen River, accepted the Buddha offering from a shepherdess, and recovered my health. I came to Gaya Mountain under the bodhi tree, paved the throne of King Kong with auspicious grass, sat on the east side, and swore: "Today, I don't have to prove that I have no great bodhi, I would rather break my body than bear this throne!" He sat quietly under the tree for 49 days and overcame all kinds of "evil spirits" inside and outside. I completely saw my true colors and stopped all delusions and ignorance. Finally, on the eighth day of December, I saw the stars at night, and I realized the "supreme truth" from Buddhism. When Sakyamuni became a monk, he said, "Strange, strange! All beings in the world have wisdom and virtue, but they can't prove it by stupidity. " It is pointed out that all living beings have Buddha nature.
After Sakyamuni Buddha's achievement failed to achieve enlightenment, he began to say that for 49 years, in order to let all beings know and see the Buddha, he was infinitely skillful and convenient.
Next to Siddhartha Gautama, there are two statues of monks, one is an old man and the other is a middle-aged man. These are two disciples of the Buddha. The old name is' Ye Jia Venerable' and the middle-aged name is' Ananda Venerable'. After the Buddha's nirvana, the venerable Ye Jia followed his disciples, and later generations called him the first ancestor. After Ye Jia's nirvana, Ananda followed his disciples, who later called him the second ancestor.
Sakyamuni Buddha is commonly known as Tathagata Buddha. This is wrong, because Tathagata and Buddha are the general names of all buddhas, and it does not mean that they are a certain Buddha. For example, calling someone Mr doesn't mean being someone. "Buddha" in Sanskrit means the wise and the awakened. Buddha is an enlightened person and a wise person. He is neither a god nor a fairy. He is such a man with complete wisdom and real complete consciousness on earth. We in China are called "perfect people" and "perfect people".
There are eighteen arhats on both sides of the Hall of Great Heroes. According to records, before nirvana, the Buddha told sixteen big arhats not to be nirvana, and they lived in the world to cultivate blessings for all beings until Maitreya was born. After the Five Dynasties, two more arhats were added. Seventeen arhats are dragon-descending arhats, and eighteen arhats are crouching tiger arhats.
