First of all, huge weeds
Giant grass was introduced to China by Lin Zhanyi, the chief scientist of the National Mushroom Engineering Technology Research Center and the inventor of mushroom technology, on 1983. After more than 20 years, the grass species suitable for China's climate and soil environment have been cultivated and named "Giant Grass" by researcher Lin Zhanyi.
Gramineae perennial erect tufted plants have strong tillering ability. This is a kind of fungus grass with high yield and high quality, which is suitable for growth and artificial cultivation in tropical, subtropical and temperate zones. The plant is tall, strong in stress resistance, high in yield, high in crude protein and sugar, and erect and clustered.
Second, the new Pennisetum
Pennisetum chinense, also known as Pennisetum, Wang Cao, Elephant Grass and Sugarcane Grass, is a perennial gramineous plant with strong tillering ability, and each plant can tiller 80-90 plants every year, so it is called the Emperor in the Grass.
Because of its long leaves and tall stems, it is like a small spotted bamboo, so it is named yellow bamboo grass. Pennisetum is a kind of four-carbon plant, which is a hybrid of elephant grass and Pennisetum americanum. It is a new type of high-efficiency economic crop.
Iii. Elephant Grass in Taiwan Province Province
Like grass. Guiminyin is a forage variety introduced by Guangxi Animal Husbandry Research Institute in recent years.
After many years' introduction and observation, Sweet Elephant Grass in Taiwan Province Province has wide adaptability, strong regeneration and high yield, with protein content as high as 10.5% and total amino acid content of 7.89%, which has high nutritional value. It is well planted in most parts of southern China and is expected to become a new green forage in the south, which has important popularization and application significance.
Iv. Cinnamomum cassia 1
Guimu 1 is an interspecific hybrid perennial herb of elephant grass and Gramineae. Plant height can reach 350cm, fibrous roots, developed roots, erect stems and clumps.
