Pan misses her hometown so much, mainly because she has been away from her hometown for more than ten years since she came to Taiwan Province across the ocean in the 20th century. During this time, she missed the flowers, trees and customs of her hometown all the time. This yearning did not fade with the passage of time, but became more real and clear, which reminded her of her homesickness.
