Group Policy (English: Group Policy) is a feature of Microsoft Windows NT series operating system, which can control the working environment of user accounts and computer accounts.

Group policy provides centralized management and configuration for user settings in the operating system, applications and active directory. One version of group policy is called local group policy (abbreviated as "LGPO" or "LocalGPO"), which can manage group policy objects on independent and non-domain computers.
