Coffee brewing method

Siphon coffee

Using the principle of steam pressure (a method invented by an ocean engineer, probably inspired by a steam engine), the heated water flows upward from the lower beaker through siphon and filter cloth, and then mixes with the coffee powder in the upper cup, thus completely extracting the components in the coffee powder. The refined coffee liquid flows back to the next cup after removing the fire source. After being full of scientific processes, you can enjoy the fruits of science.

Siphon coffee brewer is special in that it can completely mix coffee with boiling water. If this method of brewing coffee is mature, it can brew coffee with personal flavor, but the disadvantage is that it is time-consuming.

Note: when cooking, be sure to use a bamboo spoon to stir in the boiling water of coffee powder; Attention should be paid to the size of abrasive particles. The grinding is too rough, the dissolution speed is slow, and the taste is insufficient. If it is ground too finely, it will taste too bitter and sour.

Brewing method of Moka coffee

Mocha pot uses the heating mode of base to brew coffee, which belongs to distillation type. Common in professional coffee shops, rarely used at home.

Mocha pot is divided into upper and lower parts, and the lower part boils water to generate steam pressure; Boiling water rises and passes through the upper half of the filter pot filled with coffee powder; When the coffee reaches the upper part, turn down the heat. If the temperature is too high, it will make the coffee taste burnt.

Note: Arabica beans are recommended; Do not cook other powders or liquids except water and coffee beans; Unbboiled water must be used, preferably pure water; Use 1 or No.2 to finely grind coffee powder.

Three-point coffee pot

This is the most convenient coffee machine, suitable for use in the office or when there are many people. When in use, all components (filter paper, filter cup, etc. ) is installed first, it will automatically make coffee. The main secret of using electric kettle is time control. The temperature can be kept at 83 degrees Celsius within three minutes of making coffee, and the temperature can be slightly lowered during the rest of the time.

Note: When using the electric coffee pot, don't grind the coffee beans too much, so as not to block the fine cracks of the filter screen with tiny coffee powder.

Four espresso machines are used for brewing.

An espresso machine can extract several cups of coffee continuously. The high pressure in the brewing process can emulsify and dissolve the oil and gum in coffee beans, and the essence in coffee beans will be completely extracted by pressure. The brewed coffee has higher concentration and better taste and fragrance.

Five filter cups filter coffee.

Put the deeply roasted and coarsely ground coffee powder into the filter paper, then inject boiling water into the center and around the coffee, and the boiling water drops into the pot through the coffee powder. The filter paper must be matched with the filter. Generally, it is made of plastic or ceramic, but because of the high temperature of boiling water, it is best to use plastic, whose conductivity is worse than that of ceramic.

The secret of this brewing method lies in the degree of roasting and crushing of coffee beans: roasted coffee beans should not be overcooked, otherwise bitter coffee will be brewed; The degree of crushing needs to be coarse, if it is too fine, it may cause turbidity as the coffee liquid flows into the cup.

Six-bag brewing

You can brew delicious coffee in a cloth bag.

The advantage of using a cloth bag is that you don't need to stir the coffee in the bag. Coffee will bubble when it expands and filter it gradually. The key point of this brewing is the amount of coffee powder, and the amount of coffee powder determines the amount of boiling water. When brewing, pour boiling water for five minutes, and slowly add water carefully. Through the cloth bag, the coffee ingredients are completely brewed. Note: Brewing with flannel net can show the greatest flavor.

Seven Napoli Letanneur (Napoletana)

This is a kind of filtered coffee. Put the moderately ground coffee powder (5~6g/ cup) into the filter in the pot, cover the filter and put it into the boiler. When the water boils, remove the pot and turn it upside down, and the coffee powder in the filter will be dripped into the cup by boiling water. The contact time between water and coffee powder should be 2-4 minutes.

Napoletana coffee is not very strong, but it tastes full and smooth.

Eight Evelik brewing methods (Turkish coffee)

This is a traditional Turkish coffee brewing method and an espresso.

Heat a copper coffee pot, put a proper amount of coffee in the pot (coffee needs to be ground very finely), brew with boiling water for one minute, and drink after precipitation.

Jiushuidi coffee

Drip coffee is also called Dutch coffee. The drip pot for brewing was invented by an archbishop in Paris. It uses cold water or ice water for quenching, and allows water to extract coffee essence drop by drop at the rate of 40 drops per minute.

In order to keep the dropping speed of coffee constant, the plug part should be loosened. The coffee beans used are preferably deeply roasted and finely ground.

In the first step of brewing, put the coffee powder according to the number of people into the drip bucket, then gently press it, inject a little water to make it completely soaked, then put the drip bucket on the beaker, add the water according to the number of people into the upper bucket, and wait for 3-4 hours to brew coffee. When drinking, remove the lid, bucket and dripping water and heat the beaker, but don't let it boil. This kind of coffee is very refreshing because of its low caffeine content.

Ten others

0 1. coffee percolator

Home coffee pot can bring you wonderful coffee fragrance and beautiful sound, which is emitted when water flows in the system. But the coffee brewed in the coffee percolator has bitter taste.

02. Connor vacuum device

Sometimes it can be seen in some old shops (but mostly for decoration). This method is very interesting, much like alchemy. As long as you are careful not to let the coffee boil, the taste is quite good, but it is not convenient for daily use.

03. Drip filtration method

The drip filter device is divided into two parts. The roasted coffee is placed on the filter paper above. When hot water is poured on it, the liquid drops under the action of gravity and enters the coffee pot below through the filter paper. The whole process takes 6-8 minutes, and finally you get pure coffee with only a little fine foam. The correct manual dripping method is to heat it to near boiling with cold water, heat the coffee pot and then pour out the water. Add some water to ground coffee to stimulate the activity of coffee. Then pour in the right amount of water.

04. French piston tank method

The use of piston pot is very simple. First, preheat the pot, put the roasted coffee (about 5g per cup), add hot water to stir and soak for 4-5min, then push down the stainless steel piston with mesh to separate the coffee foam from the liquid, and finally pour out the coffee liquid from the piston pot. One thing to pay attention to when buying piston pot is not to buy back nylon net piston, because stainless steel net is more effective and durable.

05. There are others, so I won't introduce them one by one.
