2021April 13, the mascot project of the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in 2022 was released online. On April 16, Feifei, the mascot, was officially launched.
The design inspiration of "Feifei" comes from the image of "God Bird" in Liangzhu culture. She combines Hangzhou's history, humanities and scientific and technological innovations, and also carries the hope of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. "God Bird" has a legend of delivering good news in China, so she is also an emissary of culture and happiness.
Design meaning
The wings of "Flying" extend to the cheeks, with the logo pattern of Liangzhu culture, and the protruding wings show the beauty of strength. The word "I" on the bird's crown is a symbol of intelligence and wisdom, and it also embodies the characteristics of Hangzhou, an Internet city. It glows blue when it is exercising and happy. The 45-point ring on the chest symbolizes the happy gathering of members of the Asian Paralympic Committee.
