Ernesto Koehler is a famous Italian flute player and composer. 1849 65438+February 4th, born in the northern Italian city of Modena. His father is the chief flute of Modena court band and Kohler's first teacher. From childhood, Kohler began to show his talent in flute. For two years after 1869, he served as the chief flute of Karl Theatre in Vienna. 187 1 year, came to St. Petersburg, Russia, and worked as a flute player at the Imperial Ballet Theatre. At this time, he was only 22 years old. From 1900, he became the chief flute player in the Imperial Opera House and became the most famous flute player in Russia. 1907 In May, he died in St. Petersburg.

Kohler is not only an outstanding flute player, but also an influential flute composer and educator. He created intermediate solos, duets and quartets for students, difficult and gorgeous concert solos and fantasia for performers, and also created excellent flute elementary courses, intermediate and advanced etudes for educational purposes. All these music and etudes have played an important role in the development and education of modern flute, and have had a far-reaching impact.
