Introduction to Pepsi
Pepsi was first manufactured by CalebBradham, a pharmacist in North Carolina, USA, in the 1990s from 65438 to 2009. It is made of carbonated water, sugar, herbs, crude oil, pepsin and cola nuts. The medicine was originally used to treat stomach diseases, and was later named "Pepsi Cola" and registered as a trademark on June 1903. Later, it gradually developed into a carbonated beverage launched by Pepsi Company in the United States, and it was also the main competitor of Coca-Cola Company in the United States.
On June 8th, 20 16, "Top 20 16 BrandZ Most Valuable Brands in the World 100" was announced, and Pepsi ranked 86th.
A brief history of development
After 17 years of success, Bradham thought that the price of sugar would rise sharply, so he used a lot of assets to buy sugar. However, contrary to expectations, the price of sugar fell instead of rising, thus evaporating a lot of wealth. His Pepsi was declared bankrupt on 1923. By 193 1, Pepsi was awarded the title of CharlesG ESG, Chairman of Loft Candy Company. Guth's acquisition brought it back to the market. 1940, PepsiCo launched a national advertisement, and its advertising theme "nickels" was quite popular, and it was also translated into 55 different languages. Pepsi has achieved great success by selling recycled bottles, and the price is cheaper than Coca-Cola. Therefore, it was once called "the drink of the lower class", regarded as the drink of blacks in the United States and regarded as the drink of French in Canada. In order to transform its image, Pepsi advertised in the 1950s and found many celebrities as product spokespersons, which made its sales almost equal to that of Coca-Cola, but it did not surpass it in the end. In the 1960s, Pepsi began to change its strategy, taking young people as its selling point. 1964, Pepsi began to introduce a sugar-free light version. In 1980s, the competition between Pepsi and Coca-Cola became more intense. PepsiCo launched a series of challenges-themed advertisements, which reduced the sales of its competitors. Not to be outdone, Coca-Cola launched an advertisement with the theme of "New Coke".
