In fact, when we use the iPhone interface, it does bring us some very convenient experiences. Because the Apple phones that most of us use now have experienced several generations of development, basically everyone may have several or dozens of Apple data cables in their hands.
As we know, lightning, a data cable, has nine digital signal designs, and what it can provide is mainly aimed at some products of Apple itself. Therefore, it has extremely strong productivity.
And why doesn't Apple change the interface?
I think on the one hand, it has formed a strong ecology. For Apple mobile phones, there is no need to yield, choose or consider the Type-C interface like other mobile phone manufacturers.
On the other hand, it is necessary to talk about certification. We know that authentication is very troublesome, especially the data cable we know about Apple needs MFi authentication. This certification can actually give Apple more control over accessory manufacturers.
If other parts manufacturers want to use this kind of data cable, they must obtain Apple's permission, which is a very important way for its development. In other words, its ecology includes not only its products, but also some accessories manufacturers under its line.
Similarly, we also know that through such certification, manufacturers who meet the production standards of accessories can give Apple more certification fees. These expenses are actually a very large source of income for Apple to make profits.
For Apple manufacturers, it is impossible to cancel this lighting interface easily, so I think it is understandable that iPhone 14 does not use type C interface.
Why use port c? I think lighting has a good reputation.
Can't provoke others?
Who will buy my sky-high data cable after using it?
